Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam, ( IIITK) Kerala is one among the 20 new IIITs that have been proposed across the country by the Govt of India. The infrastructure development is implemented on public-private partnership (PPP) mode with funding from the Central Government, State government and Private Partners in the ratio of 50 : 35: 15.
Fifty three acres of land have been allocated for the project by Govt.of Kerala at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam in the state of Kerala.
The institution offers specialized courses covering all major research domains of computer science and engineering viz Data science, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Parallel Computing, HPC, Programming languages, Bioinformatics, and so forth, as part of the 4 year B.Tech program.
In addition, Institute offers Ph.D program in CSE/ECE/Mathematics.

Was amazed after seeing the avg package and rank for CSE, I think so I will opt for this, becoz I might not even get ECE in good NITs. Campus also looks decent, can anyone tell me about its mess food and gym facilities.

Since I have read most of your books, I can relate to this. I think most countries struggle in getting it working and yes, US has been very successful. Many other countries have modeled around this approach, but due to cultures, it is not working so well. There is a need to open up both ways. In India we have seen only IISc having a vibrant productization approach, which others are fast catching up. Future looks good for IIITK in your hands. All the very best!
Sir, you you talked about converting innovations to products. But I would like to extend that to another level, I.e., converting products to sales at global levels. This is lacking in India to some extent. What are your thoughts on this? How do we overcome this?
