Hi I’m new to the houseplant world but can you tell me what do you mean when you say “let it sit for a while”? 2 days, a week? Thank you in advance. I hear many plant people on UA-cam say this but never clarify.

First time Hoya owner from Indonesia. For my first Hoya, I chose a multiflora from the Island of Sumatra which suppose to have intense yellow almost orange tips on the flowers. When I opened the box the small cutting was terrible. 25%of the leaves were yellowing. Fortunately, it bounced back so quickly within days it growing New leaves and It grows quickly for me

I own this lens for the same reason half the price of the Sony. The Tamron isn't wide enough. Only down side its heavy. Can't see anyone vloging with this. Get 20mm or wider prime for that.

Get the tamron equivalent, it's very similar but much butter stabilization and a little cheaper. That's because I shoot canon though

Sold this for my GMII. I still miss the Sigma! It's much less clinical than the Sony with lovely rendering and focus falloff. I have always found that shots taken with the Sigma Art 24-70 are immediately recognisable. In fact, in my opinion the Sigma Art 24-70 bokeh is actually slightly more pleasing compared to the GMII. The rendering is a little warm by default though, like most Sigma lenses, and while the Sigma is beautifully built, it's a little chonky. Earlier Sigma models also had the dust issue as you mention. This was fixed in later models.

Really wanted a normal, green carnosa, but none of my nurseries like to carry alot of non variegated plants 😢 i hate variegated plants.....

1st was burtoniae, love it, 2nd was carnosa krimson princess, 3rd, and favorite so far, curtisii. Got it a week ago, already grew 3 inches on one of the vines! (Pumped out about 2 inches after watering last night)

These all pretty easy to get even in israel.

Hello. I'm new to Hoyas. But I didn't have a green thumb til now. Hoyas have been easy for me to grow. I can't keep some other plants going. Love your list and I agree.

in my experience Hoya Bella roots better in soil then it does in water in small prop box. I have had very good luck with it this way. Just trying to help.

What a nice collection, how do you remember all the names without labels?! 🤔 I think the Crinkle Eight is my favorite right now, don’t see them much in the stores. Oh and re the mess, hey it’s life we all have stuff somewhere… I think it’s perfectly ok to give attention ( like a big repotting session) to the plants over clearing up stuff! 🪴😄🌱
