    It’s the same for GMC 1998 AWD Safari? Also what tools do you use/ which sets should I buy? I’m an electricians and I know buying tools can get really expensive I know nothing about mechanical tools 😊

      @emune1111 Місяць тому

      I don't know 100% if it's the same, but I wouldn't think there's a huge difference.. and honestly, the tools I use are not expensive brands. I never bought a set, I usually buy as i need.. Over time, as i find to use a tool more and more, i would replace it with a better "quality brand"... If you're gonna be doing work once or twice a yr, Harborfright is good, and they have a lifetime warranty.. if you want a set, I would take up holiday specials.. just depends on the type of work you'll be doing.. there's Craftman, Husky, Kobalt that have great sets and not expensive.. or "mechanic" specific brands like Snap-on and Mac tools, but personally, they are overpriced tools.. 80% of the tools I use are from Harborfright lol cheap brand but they been getting better and better over time and i replace broken tools for free all the time.. their extending wrench are a great handy tool and their screwdriver sets are nice too..

      @@emune1111 yeah I’m gonna be doing everything I can on my Safari. It turns on the second turn the key but if it sits Idke to long or really whenever it feels like it. It just shuts off. It’s been neglected so I’m gonna give it all the love I can. But oil change. Trans change. Power steering change. Battery, spark plug, alternator. Tire change, is what I’m thinking on changing. If you have some advice with the Astro Safari some common things that need fixing or if you already have a video please let me know it’s my first car and I want to make it my everday drive

    Hello. Thanks for your video on an alternative way of changing the oil. The only thing I hate about these wonderful cars is the oil filter placement, a real PITA!... I´ve never changed the oil from the side of the vehicle. Is it more practical than from the front?

    The people in this comment section must be as dumb as the creator. You hooks are useless the opening should be facing upwards so that the rope, chain, hook, or soft shackle doesn’t fall the fuk off when trying to pull your vehicle.

    Is it possible to wire these to the sequential harness to work with the turn signals?

    • @emune1111
      @emune1111 6 місяців тому

      you might be able, but you'll need to do some mods. i believe sequential harness comes with different relays and diodes integrated.. that would be awesome, im just not sure.. this is an old video, when i made it there wasn't any on the market.. but now there is new retro LED lights that some companies have made for the sn95 now. i think American Muscle and amazon have some now.. sorry bro hope you get it to work

      No, no leaks. I would have replaced them if they leaked but I never had any leak issues. I just made sure it was properly cleaned and tightened. No issues, just thought on replacing filter as it never been replaced by previous owner.
