I’m not doing anything for thanksgiving this year because I’ve been sick 😞 last year my best friend came over for a day, because she just moved to my city and didn’t have another place to go. We’d been friends online for 4 years at that point and it was her 3rd week from country land to the city, and I was SO SO HAPPY to have her and hug her!!! My family growing up didn’t do a big thanksgiving thing because my mom’s side was 2000 miles away and my dad’s side was…. Well, I think if I had walked out like Helga, they would’ve just blamed each other instead of caring much :/ My partners family though OOOOH BOY! That was the FIRST big thanksgiving I ever went to (it was like 2019, we had JUST started dating). It was huge! So many people, so much food, everyone dressed nice!! It was like out of a MOVIE!! I had never been excited for thanksgiving like that before!! And Christmas with them? Let’s just say that now, as an adult, I finally feel the magic of Christmas ❄️ ⛄️ 🎄 Have a huge, enthusiastic family with tons of decorations and love make a big difference. They also live quite far now, but last year they waited to decorate the tree until I got there!! Because I wanted to do it so much!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺💖💖💖💖 Truly lovely people!! Very loud though. Big, loud family 😅 still a shock after 20-something years of quiet and subdued holidays

Loved Val Hallen when I was a kid 😅 No idea why I was reminded of Static Shock after seeing Val but also had a huge crush on him too x) & Jake Long from American Dragon 😂 (mainly cause of his voice. Don’t even get me started on how much I LOVED Zuko from ATLA - hah probably love any character voiced by that guy)
