A bit different than what I am used to- 2025 Indian 101 Scout
I test rode the new 2025 Indian 101 Scout.
Although I didn't have as much fun as I thought I would have, I still genuinely enjoy my time on it. It is for sure a whole new beast of its own class and it does not feel at all like my 2019 Indian Scout Sixty. Obviously a lot of factors are the reason. The biggest take away for me was the seating posture. I just couldn't get comfortable. As I was actively reaching for the bars I started to feel my back kink a bit, and I knew mid ride this was never going to be an option for me. Maybe I am being biased as my mind was already made up with the BMW and Triumph. Then again those bikes I sat up straight and the bars pretty much catered to my height. I will say it still maintains its DNA and it's a fun bike for what it is. I do believe if you really want the bike, you'll accept it for what it is and it will grow on you. I wouldn't entirely dismiss it. Fun times!!

    What mic do you suggest for me and my friend we want to make content but we don’t know what to get we also need a ear piece communicate

    • @Fuelmyinspiration
      @Fuelmyinspiration 21 годину тому

      That’s a tough one to answer. Cardo makes a new Packtalk that allows both of you to communicate and listen to music. I also believe you can now Bluetooth it to your GoPro, insta, and DJI cameras. So you’ll record what you’re both saying minus the music. I’m not knowledgeable enough on how it’ll work but I’ve seen it done. Now… you guys can also use the new DJI mic 2 and get the set so you can both use it and record as you go. Those options are the first that strike me. Good luck!

    There 100% is a drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. Its right above the horn. You have to take the foot controls off and release the radiator bracket to access it easily.

    • @tylergrimmett6604
      @tylergrimmett6604 11 днів тому

      @@Fuelmyinspiration it’s only about 1.5 inches. If you take that bracket off the horn should come with it. It’ll be really close to where the horn was like right above it. You can see it when everything is put together but it’s so small and in such an inconvenient spot you’d never even know it was a drain plug.

    Have you had a passenger and how was the seat for them? I’ve had the mustang solo seat for years, and always felt it was just “ok”, not super comfy like other mustang seats I’ve used. I never thought it’d happen, but I got a new girl and she’s actually interested in motorcycles. So now I need a passenger seat, this way would be cheaper since I already got the solo, but I’m unsure if I’m better off trying a completely different seat. I really wish saddlemen would make a seat for the classic scout, then my choice would be easy. TIA.

      I’m with you on saddleman expanding their product. Well I’ll be blunt with you Yes, I had a passenger and did not mind the seat. Also the sissy bar helped out a lot since it covers up the back of the person well and the cushion adds comfort. Honestly, I don’t like my mustang seat lol the market for scouts is poor in my opinion but I just bought a cushion last week and let me tell you… I should’ve done that a long time ago lol all the difference in the world. I’ll post a video of it soon actually. Lastly, the scout isn’t what you call “passenger friendly” it just feels out of balance and struggles to go and stop compared to bigger bikes. Personally I’ll take a passenger on a bigger bike than the scout. But if you decide to do so, please be careful as it takes longer to take off and stop. Just my experience. I hope that helps!
