Why have to put Thai name in there.. Just put LAOS name... LAOS food is getting popular now.. Don't need Thai in there.. When Thai open I don't see they put LAOS name.... That's how Westerner think everything is Thai food, actually they eaten LAOS.food...Like Nam Khow is gaining its popularity lately.. Like papaya salad and Laab now they think is Thai food..

Nice, their is trend with Laos food more than Thai now. people like that simplicity of the sticky rice, grilled meat and fish with all the sauces and veggies. A lot of people have visited those countries and experienced the food there, the whole grilled or fried talapia is a big hit with all demographics. Noodles, grilled meats, and sticky rice is hard to beat, keep it simple. I wish these restaurants would do grab to go plates, they don't have to the full size to go boxes, maybe half the size. Have a handful of sticky rice, grilled Laos sausage or fish, with a some fresh steam veggies, and small container of dipping sauce. Use the clear containers so people can see what is inside of them. I have never seen this in any of these Laos/Thai pop up restuarants. They are losing all those potetial customers who are on the run and have not time to sit and eat, if they do have time they will return to sit and eat. keeping the container small so people who have not experienced this food get an idea. With all these Uber eats and grub hub, Americans eat with their eyes. The lack of marketing and innovation have failed many of these Laos Thai restaurants that sold good food. They have this my way or the high way mentality.

I wish they were more consistent in their marinade of the chicken. Always hit and miss. Sometimes flavorful sometimes hardly any. Papaya was not good from a few times I have tried. Need better person who can thum good. They in business so long should be stable by now.

I was passing through town and stopped there for day. I ate at one booth the grilled meat was good but sticky rice made me bloated. I don’t know why but this was my second encounter of being bloated. The last time was 10 years ago at the same festival.
