Cable Car(sky cab)
Construction Year: The Langkawi Cable Car was completed and opened in 2003.
Total Cost: Approximately RM 20 million (around USD 5 million at the time).
Total Length: The cable car spans 2.2 kilometers (1.37 miles) from the Base Station to the Top Station.
Stations:
1. Base Station:
Elevation: Approximately 82 meters (269 feet) above sea level.
Starting point of the journey.
2. Middle Station: Elevation: Approximately 650 meters (2,133 feet) above sea level.
3. Top Station:
Elevation: Approximately 708 meters (2,323 feet) above sea level.
SKY BRIDGE
Construction Year: The Langkawi Sky Bridge was completed in 2004 and officially opened to the public the same year.
Construction Cost: The total cost to build the bridge was approximately RM 10 million (around USD 2.5 million at the time).
Length: The bridge is 125 meters (410 feet) long and designed in a curved shape to offer unique and shifting perspectives as you walk across.
Width: The walkway is 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) wide, with resting areas and viewing platforms along the way.
The Sky Bridge itself is at an elevation of 660 meters (2,170 feet) above sea level, slightly below the Top Station of the cable car.
