No real 2nd line center , Dickenson is perfect 3rd line center. Lots of line possibilities
Taylor Hall is going to be a key to a turnaround. If he can stay healthy , he makes our top 6 way better. If Crosby / Malkin are signing new deals , Hall is younger. We will see. Hope he can play at least 70
Yep, definitely hoping Hall can be a good contributor this year in the top 6.
Nazar and Slaggert start the season in Rockford. Play big minutes in the AHL would only benefit them in the long run. I think Korchinski will start the season in Rockford as well.
Maroon was signed as a protector. Bedard took some shots last season and Maroon is a deterrent for those kinds of cheap shots. Brodie was the biggest head scratcher to me. Overpaid and too much term. Would have much preferred Vincent Desharnais who is younger shoots right and is very physical. He signed for only 2 million per season over two years.with Vancouver. His two year contract is just a bit less than Brodie for one season. I think Bedard is better on the wing. Less defensive responsibilities kind of like Patrick Kane.
good stuff guys!
Wish Lafferty was our line 4 center
Line 2 ???? Bertuzzi Rychal AA not sure about this one. No 2nd line Center
Line 1 Bedard Hall Tevo Line 3 Dickinson Mick Kurashev Line 4 Smith Foligno Denato
Yeah the Hawks jacked up that #18 pick. Demidov would have fit perfect on this team.
It should have been Demidov! Not saying Levshunov isn’t good. We had a solid draft. Nothing special
bad audio
Thank you, I’ll look into the issue.
Well the dude has about 171 subscribers. People arent going to go buy thousands of dollars of camera equipment for what is considered a hobby at this point. Use your brain
Fun fact, Vanacker played most of his season plus the world championships with that torn labrum.
Yep, very intriguing to see what he can do at full health. 👍
U can always throw around money - they can’t afford to throw around term
Hawks are a year away from really throwing money at big names. Hopefully we take a step from last year and dont overthink the situation. I hope they grab Levshunov. Safe.
You bouncing this signal off of Mars, bro? The skipping audio is really annoying to listen to.
Thx for the heads up, I’ll definitely check my setting.
appreciate the content, good job!stick with it.
Realistic options that have a chance to be available at No. 18: Michael Hage (will need to drop a bit), Igor Chernyshov, Sacha Boisvert, and Adam Jiricek. Teddy Smiga is a smallish prospect and Blackhawks need to add size - unlikely to be picked at No. 18. Ditto regarding Cole Hutson.
Even looking at this from a need position, which I think is a mistake, the Hawks are in far better shape prospect wise at D than offense. At two, they should be looking for stars, and I haven't heard anyone pegging Levshunov as a star in the making. As a matter of fact, I keep hearing his decision making and defense are areas of concern. At the very least, Demidov is widely considered special with the possibility of being the best player in the draft. I'd take that over the benefits oh having a right-handed shot defenseman.
Definitely see your point.
Agree with this take. We should completely disregard "need" -- Hawks need everything. We have no idea how any of the prospects are going to turn out. This is #2 overall, hopefully the last time we'll have a pick this high (barring lottery luck) for a while. We absolutely have to go with BPA. The argument for Demidov is his extremely high upside. His hockey sense is unreal, and he's someone who (it appears) can "think" the game like Bedard, which Kurashev recently acknowledged is lacking on the Hawks. The only arguments against Demidov are that (1) because of circumstances that have nothing to do with his ability, he's been playing against lower competition, (2) he skates kinda weirdly, and (3) he's maybe kinda small (though reports vary on his current size). The arguments for Levshunov are his physical traits, his point production, and the desire for the Hawks to draft a (RH) blue-chip defensemen. The arguments against Levshunov are that he doesn't have very good hockey sense (often out of position and commits costly turnovers) and is just okay defensively. Watching his tape and not just looking at his stats, the (mostly offensive) highlights just look so-so, and the lowlights look...bad. From all this (which is a combo of my own opinion and what I've seen written from scouts), I see Levshunov peaking as the 2nd or 3rd best defensemen on a playoff team, not the elite player that some Hawks fans seem to think he is, simply by virtue of him being the consensus top defensemen in a strong class of defensemen. And I see Demidov peaking as a 100-point winger who can either play on Bedard's line or lead his own line. The choice to me is obvious, and I will be disappointed if we take Levshunov.
@@aszewci Very eloquently put!
Liam Greentree
Teddy Stiga
Adam Jiricek
a #2 draft pick to move up only 2 spots and you dont even know who is available yet ?..sounds dumb
Definitely interesting one month before, but the FO must be keen on one or two specific players that they’re sure won’t fall to 20. We’ll see
They should go with Lindstrom. Who would you rather have Marner or bigger, faster, meaner Tkachuk
Would be an interesting pick at #2. Don’t know if the potential is greater than Demidov or Levshunov at that spot tho. #GMKD
Hawks will trade up for Eiserman or the kid from Norway.
Being a Blackhawks fan have been rough to watch the past 3 seasons.
The future is very bright☀️☀️

What a night for the kid
They need to get rid of that move
It's gross
The coolest guy ever
Had to rewatch Bedards snipe in slo mo to actually see it.
Hawks played well in small bursts, but unfortunately the Wings played a better 60 minutes and capitalized on their chances where the Hawks didn't.
“Fuckin right Chicagooo”❤🖤 keep it up guys💪🏾💪🏾🍻
Absolute golden Crawford moment
Thats where j did my try outs
🔥
Canucks will actually want something if they retain 50% of Garlands 4.95 mil a year, (PS-they can not retain 3mil). Hawks would have to take the whole contract to get him for pennies on the dollar. This is 1 game against a true stanley cup contender, these games are going to happen unfortunately. The avs are very fast, the dmen transition so fast and smooth. The hawks are starting off the season playing a lot of good teams, eventually we will be playing mediocre teams and will look much better. Remember we are still in a rebuild and want to be a bottom 10 team this year. Great talks, keep up the pods.
Agreed, appreciate the support.
Love the commentary ❤
He had a great one tonight
Looking forward to an exciting season - Go Hawks! Great info and insight!
Appreciate it!
