@benharris3629 yeah the tpx are a little short on distance and its too basic like it goes off at 300M but no idea on direction etc. I'm now using the Uniden R8 with external warning light. Sometimes it gives you a little too much warning like 3km on a highway. Definitely a better option but not weather resistant like the tpx.

@GAZARALI yup, sell it online for around $500 and buy the uniden R8 for around $1200. It's a far superior radar to this and the best on the market. A lot of people still run the tpx because it's weather resistant and the external light, but its range drops over time and it's simply outclassed by the uniden in every way accept being weather resistant. I have put mine on a quick release so if it rains i can easily put it away as i dont ride fast in the wet anyway. TPX was awesome 2/3yrs ago, but not so much now. We did a side by side comparison and the tpx picked up the cop at around 300m on the highway (straight road) and the uniden pick it up at well over 1km so I changed and its so good because its easliy programmable to pick up just cops, radars and cameras. I plan on doing a new video for this soon. Comparison test was done side by side on the dash of a ute with clear view for both. Cheers

@@fxlrsnz8364 Hmmm, also considering options. TPX3 is getting on a bit now, but R8 looks huge by comparison and doesn't have biker friendly alerts. Do you think the TPX3 is still worth it? Not so bothered about fixed camera maps etc, just highway cops...

@Group_Anonymous I can tell you dont know what hard riding is. This is no highway cruiser its built to exploit the roads and does so very well. These bars aren't for your average rider, they don't block the view for me and have next to no flex in them. Apes are trash for everything accept view and look stupid on a low s imo.

@camouflage962 but they are not great stock are they... the riding position for men taller than 5'8 is horrible and the wind is a constant tax on the body, especially when you give the bike some extra power. Handle bars are in a horrible position stock and creates poor posture for a taller rider. So this bikes appearance from stock is only the seat, screen and bars all of which serve a genuine reason for being there. There also isn't a lot of options when trying to choose these upgrades. Whats ugly to you is necessary to some to be comfortable and safe. Cheers.
