The 'fun' I had with this game when it first came out , I was at primary school and none of my classmates would admit to struggling with it . Which made me feel terrible. I could only make it as far as the technodrome boss fight. With only one turtle left with virtually no health. My 8 yr old self still hadn't figured out the trick to this game. Which is only destroy enemies in your way and not clear the entire area, Adding to my heartache was the fact I was a turtle fanatic back then ( who wasn't) and wanted to experience everything about the game (it didn't happen ) Double heartache the game was an Xmas present which lead to a very tearful Christmas due to the game's unbelievable difficulty setting. Which I blamed my parents for. - fun times.

I've tried playing this many times myself. Never can make it past the second screen. Either I run out of energy, or blow myself up while clearing the many, many trees in that area.

This was such an amazing game for its time. Simple, fun, not easy, but beatable. It's definitely in my top 3 favorite NES games

Got this game with a couple other NES games. So I played very little of it just to make sure it worked. What little I played the game seemed fine and the music is great. But seeing this and realising the game is on a constant timer really soured my opinion of the game

At 4:00 you can try and go down the pots like you can in the daylight hours.

You can toss your magic red bottle at them to knock them off.

You need the cherries and the hearts. The hearts will replenish your four red bars.
