Awesome, Fr. Bryan. Yes, we are here to know, love, and serve God.... not just today, but every day and more and more each day, week, and year that we're here and until we meet Him in eternity. 🙏
Thanks, Father. God bless & Happy Thanksgiving!
Even as we sit on the beach of South Padre Island, I'm positive that when Jesus comes, everything will be so wonderful and I can hardly wait for His return!!! Come, Lord Jesus, come!
GOOD STUFF there Father Bryan, thank you so much for sharing. Peace be with you, and a Happy Thanksgiving to all of God's Children around the world!!!
Amen!
Amazing! So grateful for this message!
Thank you Father for these Bible studies- they are very helpful and we are grateful for them -I had a few questions and wondered if you could discuss .....about The Mass in the Bible... since the Holy Mass is a sacrifice can you explain the connection between Jesus' sacrifice on Calvary and the Last supper? I know Jesus talked about a new covenant but did he become Catholic? was he always Jewish if He was teaching about a new way? Did He consider Himself Jewish even at the end on Calvary?
Thanks for the comment! I will work on a video for this.
Awesome! Thank you.
Awesome reflection, Fr. Bryan!
@@pamelabrule3467 thanks!
Good stuff Father! The graphic for this one is really good I really like it!
@@johnsagsveen8238 thanks, John! I like it, too.
God bless you, Father. Thanks!
Great!
Splendid marvelous video presentation my catholic brother May you be assisted daily with your good works of explaining scripture from above amen 🙏
Thank you, Father Brian. Each week you bring such clarity and understanding to our Sunday readings. Bless you!
Good stuff! Really appreciate the explanation about the sacrifice being eternal vs what our protestant friends may think about us redoing the sacrifice each time.
@@johnsagsveen8238 thanks!
Thank you Father for all of these talks. They are very helpful. Our two oldest sons are almost 13. Can you give some advice about how to discern their vocations other than praying to Our Blessed Mother to reveal their vocations? Do you recommend any books for this purpose? God bless you!
7:10 anyone who watches your videos can easily see that you do these weekly reflections out of a selfless love for God and the church. This is you giving your “two cents” with unfailing love that can only come from the Holy Spirit.

I love the torch guy analogy. Great for teens and younger people. Thanks so much father
Thanks!
I'm a teen! One of the most memorable stories and analogies I've heard thus far!
Nice reflection, Fr. Bryan.
Thanks!
Thank you for your Spiritual teachings. I’m just a lowly sinner from Kentucky and truly appreciate your weekly Bible exegesis. Thanks be to God.
I'm very glad you found it helpful!
SO GOOD Father Bryan, thank you as always! Heading out the door to mass in a minute, and wanted to listen again, so as to better hear the Word. ❤🫵😎
This is great! Thank you for your complete, thorough, and clearly understandable explanation! This should be given to the St. Paul Evangelization group to distribute!
I'm glad it's helpful for you!
WOW! Thank you so very much Father for answering my question! I will have to listen to it a hundred more times! You really explained just what I needed to know and I am so grateful! Also I never heard that passage about the oil and the virgins explained like that. I never knew that the oil represented good works. This makes so much sense. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer this question. Our whole family listened to it and we all love learning from you! 😄 God bless you Father, you are in our daily prayers.
I'm so grateful for your prayers - I need them!
Love these Bible Studies. I'm so grateful Father you take the time to share your knowledge! I am definitely at the "unadvanced level...😊 I'm happy to be learning ...✝️
I'm very glad! Learning is one of the big keys to growth, so I'm glad you're learning along with me.
The struggle is real Fr. Bryan, truly... Concupiscence in relation to original sin is VERY powerful indeed.
The connection from this reading to the first was very moving, I don't think I would've gotten it without your help!
@@mightdai7489 I'm very glad - thanks for sharing!
Wow! I have failed but feel called to change! Thank you so much Father!
Excellent teaching
@@junemordente9154 thanks!
This was very helpful Father Thank you so much for this discussion. As kids my husband and I both "celebrated" halloween never really knowing how demonic it was. Now that we have children of our own, we choose not to celebrate it. On Halloween, We take out the November calendar and as a family write the names of all of our family members who passed away that we will pray for each day of the month. I have Catholic friends that have their children dress as their favorite Saint! God bless you and thanks again for these great videos!
I like that idea with the calendar - very neat!
thank you Father!
SO GOOD!!!
I REALLY enjoy these bible studies Fr. Bryan, thank you so much for making them. I was in Japan for a week and a half earlier this month, and missed last week's studies unfortunately. Attending last Sunday's mass without having participated in your studies left me "unprepared", for lack of a better term, and less able to absorb the word, leaving me less full, as I did not hear the message as well as a might have if I had taken the time while on vacation to prepare my heart and mind...
I'm so glad they have been helpful for you - thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Father!
Thank you for doing these videos!
I love this Bible study too! Thank you
Father could you do a video about how we as Catholics believe we need works as well as faith to be "saved" . I have a few protestant friends who ask if i understand that i am saved especially when I say things like, i'm going to offer up such and such or unite my sufferings to Christ... they often make comments about there's nothing I can do to add to His sacrifice on the cross. I tried to explain once using the book of James. But many of their bibles don't have the book of james .... Since I'm surrounded by so many protestants, could you do a video discussing How to defend the Faith?I'd love your insights.
@@OasisOfPeaceFarm5 oh, surprising that they don't have James. Wow. Yes, I will make a video about this. There is one in the hopper before yours, so it will be a couple of weeks, but it will be a good topic. Thanks for asking!
Thank you Father!
That is such an interesting point, Father. I had never thought about choosing the suffering that I face. I'm grateful that you explain this. The difference between accepting and choosing. I need more Trust in Him! Thank you for doing these studies. I am learning so much, and i'm very grateful.
So good! Thank you for sharing and explaining!
Jesus was not Catholic just like apostles too!1 those religions came later with bunch of pagan cults and sacraments only which Jesus never use or force anyone and his apostles too
@@Mr11ESSE111 we don't claim that Jesus was Catholic, only that he started the Catholic Church. But you can do your own research on that. Do you have any arguments with the contents of the Bible study? If not, why did you think you needed to comment on it?
@@catholicbiblestudies he didnt start catholic church too!! his apostles was not start catholic church too !1 infact they didnt know what is that at all!! Catholic church found peoples which set priests and priests comes from pagan religions mostly !! infact jesus never had priests and was always in some conflict with Jewish priests which at the end condemn him on death with stupid peoples whichthink that they serve to God too!!
@@catholicbiblestudies i have lot of arguments because Bible are made by peoples and Jesus didnt use any Bible or book or scripts for teaching at those times just like his original apostels so for arguments i could only ask you because you read basically stories of various writters and bible have on hundreds if not thousands of them !! bible are evil book too because many dictatorsjust like Churches use many rules frm there to deceive and forcing peoples to accept fairy tales in the name of Jesus and God
@@catholicbiblestudies reading from bible are almost like reading from books of Illiad and Odiseey and Old Greek mythology !! only difference are that Bible are much more bloody and more perverted
@@Mr11ESSE111 try to be less angry and write better sentences. Maybe English isn't your first language. If you're going to argue online, it's unhelpful if you're angry and not writing readable sentences. Have you studied this topic? If so, what are your sources?
Thank you Father ! I am really grateful for your insights with these readings!
I love this video. Years ago I prayed the rosary daily with my grandparents and siblings, but not knowing much about my faith I had that time in my life where I was just saying what I remembered and not understanding. After getting deeper in faith I also still had questions about intercession prayers and the rosary, but this video helped me a lot
@@mightdai7489 thanks for sharing! I'm glad it was helpful.
This was so good, Father! Thank you for taking the time to discuss the rosary! One time I heard Fulton Sheen say to a man who is questioning why the repetition In the rosary, "When was the last time you told your wife you loved her?' He mentioned..." Before I left for work." He asked again, "And before that ? and the man said the night before ...and before that?, he said, well, I tell her several times each day. And Fulton sheen said to the man, does she ever tire of hearing you say you love her? Never the man said and Fulton Sheen said it is the same with our lady She loves to hear her children Tell her how much we love her! Then once I heard Mother Teresa sayNo Mary, No Jesus. Know Mary. No Jesus. And then I heard a priest say that he was struggling on time with devotion to Our Lady... And was told, look at how Jesus loved her. You can never love her too much. You can never love her more than Jesus loved her!❤
@@OasisOfPeaceFarm5 amen to that. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Father for taking the time to do this for us!
Thank you Father, we are so grateful for your bible studies! We are learning so much!
This is wonderful. Thank you Father for taking the time to do this for us!
Thank you so much for doing this and I love St Luis Demonfort’s Devotion to Mary through the Rosary. And in truth, I can really say that Devotion to Jesus cannot be without an automatic devotion to Mary and the reverse holds true. Like St Demonfort says “without Mary, there is no Jesus”. This holds such truth in my heart, she actually accepted to sacrifice her own son at Calvary too. It is truly magnificent that, as St Demonfort says, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit all chose her as the perfect vessel that unites the Trinity within her person. Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts and feelings too and I thank you from the bottom of my heart to bring these episodes home to us
@@ghadaabdo9360 thanks for sharing! A nice reflection. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
I truly enjoy your theological reflections. My prayers and support.
Thanks Father, the rosary is a great prayer. Since seeing it in a book on the rosary some years back I have been starting my rosary by saying, "I beg the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray to the Lord my (our) God for me (us)." I think this simple start reinforces that I am not worshipping Mary but rather seeking her intersession, which is unparalleled.
@@darrelbakken3780 nice addition!
Thank you for sharing Father Bryan, I learned quite a bit...
