Pay is crappy, the hours are even worst, and yet the respect given by some, is even more crappy, but others who don't understand why someone would put a Badge on their chest for all of the above, isn't always about themselves, it's about trying to bring about change to their Community. Never ending task to try to do so. And what's worst, is that sometimes, they give up their lives for those who have NO RESPECT FOR THEM. They all know what the outcome can be, but, they still do it.

This makes me want to cry, Thank you so much for being out there.🥲

Thank you from the sister and daughter of a police officer. I know that each time they heard that "thank you" meant the world to them.

We've had family members on WI police forces for almost 125 years. It is a proud and noble career and we celebrate them all. I wish our citizens understood that their case probably is the 1st, the 5th or even the 10 their officer will handle tonight. There is a need to be more aware of what your officer may have had to deal with before you. This isn't a 'get out of butthole jail free card' but a little more compassion, understanding and honesty would go a long way towards healing these wounds. Both sides are hurting but we need to find a common goal.

Remember just don’t thank Military and veterans for their service. Also Emt Fd and Pd for their service too, they are out there everyday too.👍😁😎

As a state trooper, this is really nice to see! thank you so much Nicolefor doing this. some things that we do are very rough, but we always have a reason to do it, and that is people like you. we always give hope, and take very little. when we do have to do something like kill a man, it is with a heavy weight on our shoulders. we always keep our hearts in mind, but we make sure that everyone else is safe before us, even if it means that we won't ever be with our family again. Anyone who has a problem with Law Enforcement needs to do the following: 1) write it down on a piece of paper 2) shred it 3) and realize that law enforcement officers are some of the greatest, bravest, most courageous men and women on earth. They do their jobs dutifully and will sacrifice everything at any moment in time for your ass that doesn't want them around. 4) rethink your life 5) support LEO's everywhere.

I live in a big city where cops are criticized. I'm not one of the thin blue line but I thank them.
