It's better than casio, in this price range, casio doesn't even offer any automatic, so movement wise it's not fair to compare those, I have seen casio watches costing over 12k with bracelet with hollow end links, that's the biggest bummer. Yeah durability with g-shocks, that's not comparable too, cause those are meant to be worn in rough conditions, so comparing dress watches, yeah, its better.

It depends on your wearing pattern, if you daily it then I would recommend getting a service done within 3 to 3.5 years otherwise it's good up to 5 years. But not more than that.

See Kushal, those two watches are of different types, I can't compare them in functionality wise, if you want a chronograph, then I would recommend you to go with the timex marlin chronograph which has been released in India just a while ago priced at around 12k cause the q timex in most cases doesn't have a mecha-quartz movement. But if you want an automatic one go for the seiko, and if I compare them just by the perspective of watches I would tell you to go for the timex, it's more stylish, striking and overall gorgeous, especially the green one. The Seiko in design is just like any typical watches.

The worst part of 5 series is that the glass... Not even mineral.. Hardlex is highly prone to scratches..

Very prone to scratch, got 5 or 6 scratches in just 8 months of usage, they should really have offered it with a sapphire one,

Automatic movement is quite self explanatory, it means it doesn't require any external power source like battery or solar power to run the watch, it's actually a spring that holds kinetic energy when you wind the watch and provides power to the hands
