di's bento Hi! i prefer MLFT, she uses first quality saddle leather that will truly last a lifetime. now the downside for most is it starts out quite firm, some cuts even stiff, however it softens with use and will last you forever and can take a serious beating. from what I've seen, the American Dream from CS will also last, is most times more flexible, bit doesn't wear as well. hope that helps!! oh, and you can't beat the customizations with MLFT!!

Thanks so much for the video. Been meaning to try a trifold and this helped a lot. How is the wear and tear on this leather? easily stained? wondering if it would be best to use as a stay home journal or as EDC - depending on how it wears/stains. Please let me know. Thanks.
I used mine as an edc for awhile and it never stained, but some scratches didn't rub off. if you dont mind some scratches showing fine, no different than any other leather, same w stains I think

I really love American Dream leather, and am sorry to see it go. I hope Jennifer is successful in replacing it with something that turns out to be more popular. I like floppy leather, but I'd like to see some that is more pebbly with a slight sheen instead of completely matt. Maybe something more similar to the full grain Italian leathers offered by other planner makers, at 3 times the price. ;) ;)
