The past couple of weeks have been rough. Funerals, illness, and failed fertility treatments. Staying positive is tough sometimes, but it's essential. Thanks for all your support.

What I've been eating, doing, and thinking about this last week. My biggest FatBrain filter has been identified... SCARCITY. It's been enlightening to see how much this concept rules my day to day life, and being aware of it has helped me to change some of my habits.

Watch to the end of the video for my pep talk. Anyone else ready for a new year. 2016 may go down as collectively one of the worst years ever, but it had its good points for us with many firsts. For all the steps forward there were many going backwards too. Time to wake up, join the revolution, and get back on the trail to success. Let's make 2017 awesome again.

Just a quick update on what I've been up to the past two weeks.

What are the NSVs you take for granted? When the scale doesn't move anymore, these are the things that still encourage us to live the lifestyle. I thought of a few I missed after the video (like not taking meds), but I'm sure there are many I don't even realize anymore.

No weight loss, but a great week for fitness and NSVs.

A strong start, a sick day, and a weekend fishing trip. The setbacks of this week didn't get me down. I am looking at it as an opportunity for improvement.
