turn on always-on-display so it activates a clock for example for 10 sec if you touch the screen, THEN unlock the phone. only activate the screen this way and the problem is gone.
I have the exact problem . Always on display method works however if I recieve a call then can not read the caller id. 2023 and Samsung has still not fixed the issue . Shame on Samsung as Note 9 is an excellent phone .
Apologies to my viewers... I made this video about a year ago... I moved to an Island in the south pacific and having network is almost impossible 😑... But to whoever is watching this still... I didn't put up an update to this fix nor can I due to limited resources... You can just search up AOD (always on display fix on some other channels... this temporary fix is much more convenient for most note 9... Much love to yall
Doesn't fix it completely. Green screen still shows up when you're on a phone call, at least for me. But, instead of this method, it's easier to use the 'Always On Display' setting.
@@kravendash7856 I'm surprised they haven't released a patch for this. I wonder why no one has tried rolling back the Operating System to an earlier version that didn't exhibit these issues? Grab a copy of Odin and a previous version of the OS and give it a try I guess?
If you turn on Always On Display you will still be able to use your fingerprint scanner, just turn the setting on, then when the screen is off and you want to unlock, tap the screen and when the always on display turns on you'll be able to unlock with your digit
Not working on my note 9 When I turn on the aod by double tapping the display stays normal and the display shows no signs of discolouration but as soon as I turn on the display the display returns to the discoloured one even I used your charging and fingerprint method none of them worked as well
I had this happen to me for the first time yesterday! and the online methods for fixing it didn't work for me, I then remembered that morning when I woke up and touched my phone it lit up green a bit and It had been a few days of me forgetting to charge my phone and just partially charging it each day, that may have triggered this known glitch. Solution: Let your phone battery drain all the way down to 0% and even then keep attempting to turn on your phone without charging to sort of drain the rest of the battery. Then plug it in and don't touch it until it's at 100% charge then turn it on, it may fix the issue at that point. That is how I fixed my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I hope this helps others out there, this yellow / green tint screen was annoying beyond belief.
This is not very convenient. It is better to just enable always on display and you will no longer have problems with colors. Just wait until always on display shows and then unlock. Voilla!

Thank you soon much this is the only thing that worked, its the best solution I found so far🙏
Is it a hardware problem that causes that or is the screen?
This is a software issue... apparently Samsung still doesn't know the exact falt from the screen and main PCB and the software that interacts them...❤
