What winch model are you using? does it have a brake?
Standard 2 ton winch.
hey brother, I'm making one, can you tell me how it is on the bottom? I have no idea! Greetings, I'm from Mexico City nic_ven_32@hotmail.com
Does anyone have the plan for this lift. Please send me at email bahamaseducation@gmail.com
I've been shocked by one of these, more than once! The only thing worse than this is 480 volts! Yep, been hit by that also!
bad to the bone. smart thinking hombre
I have a unit like this. Do you have any issues with strong smell from the burn?
Smells only when first igniting the unit as one has the cover off to get a wadded newspaper lit. After that I have never noticed a smell unless I drip some oil on the cover when hot during a refill. Mine pulls a good draft, so if you are experiencing an odor, you may not be pulling a strong enough draft through the flue.
Dennis Z thank you for your input
Could you tell me how do you adjust the blower speed?
Is this pneumatic or how does it pull?
A winch
How do u ignite these
Looks sweet, but would look a lot sweeter if we could see all of its construction... I'd like to make me one of those!!! You did good!!! I'll check back to see if there's an update to this video. Thanks for making the vid

Hi, I've been looking at these for quite a while, they look slick. Why don't you just sell me yours???
Yes the light should come on. This one does not work correctly.
where can I find the bulb that it uses?
? The bulb is an NE-30, still being manufactured by Chicago Miniature Lighting so replacements are available
Thank you!
found out that bulb is very very expensive,,found one for 187 bucks,,ouch
I have one, but the bottom light bulb thing lights up whenever it pulses, is that supposed to happen?
This is awesome

@@josephrojas9637 Hi. Where can we get the plans for this lift?
In 1979 I worked at a Kerr McGee station. My boss bought 2 of these,(which I now own both of) new. As far as I can remember we never did have those rings in them. One of the two of them has now been parted out to keep the other running. I have had to work the pump over two or three times now. It no longer has the ability to pump on low flame because the groove that they run in wore out and I "stroked" it and made it pump about 1/8 inch longer stroke than it did on high flame.
I have two of these, but I don't have the plate with the holes over the burner tray. Did yours always have that?
Yes, mine came with the diffuser ring. It is made of cast iron, but there is a guy on eBay selling some cut out of steel. Kutrieb part number is 910-001-1. Do you run yours without the ring?
