I really like them with GWR livery and i prefer these units than the other 387s (Gatwick Express, Great Northern and Heathrow Express).

I have so many memories sat on the bench next to the lift on platform 4. Me and my grandma used to go down bring some snacks I used to call the numbers off to her and she used to jott them down. Oh the 180’s were absolute buggers to read with their white lettering on a yellow front. Was never electrified so you had pure HST and 180 noise passing at 100odd mph. Freight was also fun coming through on 4 and 3.

Great camera work...made me chortle though when they papped their horns and you jumped out of your skin!

One of the most uncomfortable trains I've ever had to ride on. Did Newport to London a few weeks ago for business. My back was in so much pain when I got to London, and by the time I got home I had to ring my wife for a lift as my back was far too painful to even walk the last mile home.

I do like the Class 730/2 London Northwestern Railway trains. I wonder if they are to enter service before the end of this year.

I used to live in the Royal Train Shed, Wolverton Park. I loved having all the trains going by all the time. The balcony of my bedroom overlooked the line in and out of the Works, and I'd regularly see all kinds of stock moving around, including the Royal Train itself on many occasions. Watching the rail head treatment unit at night was spectacular from the lounge!
