Altars in church mean a lot to a lot of people, and if anyone feels like they can be delivered from their sins by going to the altar then that’a a good thing. Altars symbolize God will meet them there, if a person chooses to believe that. People get healed, saves, and delivered at altars. People get hands laid on them during a lot of altar prayers, and I seen you praying for people in your congregation while laying hands on them at the front of your ‘church’ on a YT short this week. If you can’t afford an altar right now, then just say that instead of hating on those who have met God at the altar! If your church ground is so holy, and God is only giving you his truth and nobody else then why don’t you remove your shoes when coming into your church? Preach God’s holiness without your shoes, if you are the only person God is giving truth to. You been walking around on unholy ground before church. Bringing in spirits such as hatefulness. Moses had to remove his shoes before the holiness of God, so if you are going to preach your brand of holiness then do the same thing Moses did. There is nowhere in the Bible, where it says you have to supplicate and fast for the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is a gift, ACTS 2:39. The Holy Ghost is received by faith, mark 11:24, Galatians 3:5, 14, one John 5-14:15, and is a gift from the heavenly father toward those who have repented and believed on him, Luke 11-11:13, Ephesians 1:13. The only thing that is absolutely required is repentance and faith. As we obey the first two commands of ACCTS 2:38 we are eligible to receive the Holy Ghost and nothing else is required. To demand anything else is biblical and unscriptural, and would be the traditions of men. No need to Terry. Just ask for the baptism of the Holy Ghost, believe you receive it, and yield to the Holy Ghost as he gives you the entrance, act 2:4. it certainly helps to have titles along with the name of Jesus. You can say, in the name of Jesus, Christ, the name of the Lord Jesus, or the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have scripture for the name of the Lord Jesus, ACS 8-12:16, 19:5. We have scripture for the name of Jesus Christ, 2:38, 10:48. We have scripture for Christ Jesus, Romans 6-3:6. We have scripture for using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, which consist of two titles, acts 2:36, 16-301:33, one Corinthians one: two, 6:11 in the Greek. So anyone of those three things are fine. If one just simply says, in Jesus name, there is more than one Jesus in the Bible, so I would go ahead and get baptized just in case, although I definitely believe that he knows what you’re talking about, but we want to be sure to be obedient so I would do it.
