You guys are pros at eating pho by tasting the broth first before you add anything to it. Fyi, Pho Hoa Pasteur is a Michelin recommended restaurant. There are a few there are Michelin rated. Look for the plaques on the walls.

Don't mind the stares, overwhelming majority of the Vietnamese love the fact that you're visiting VN. They are very curious and impressed by your braids so just smile to them, give them a "xin chao" and enjoy and cherish the feeling of being a celebrity. Enjoy the fruit smoothies, the % of real fresh tree ripened fruits in the fruit smoothie in VN is a great value. Visit the numerous and lovely decorated cafes, watch the heavy traffic and imagine a school of fish darting left and right, on 2 wheel scooters :-) Safe travel guys.
