Idk if it’s the editing or what, but it kinda feels like you’re maybe a 16th off. Could also be the nature of the song. I’d also suggest maybe either increasing the audio of your bass or decreasing the audio of the music you overlay because it’s very hard to hear your bass- I get it, it’s the bass, you’re typically not encouraged to play that loudly or overtop of the other instruments, but seeing as this is a cover I’d love to hear YOU more than the song, because what I’m really getting out of this is Sugar, We’re Going Down Swinging with the occasional sound of you plucking the strings. Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback - I may get round to re-recording it with more volume on my bass. Sometimes I try not to play too loud to overpower the music, and it can get a bit lost. I appreciate the comment and the feedback though!

Hi, I don’t use any pedals, just natural effects, I use Ernie Ball hybrid slinkies. Action on the bass is set quite low too.

I don't know how I ended up here but watching this vid made me have an appreciation for bass. I never realized it adds a grounding quality to a song, like a quiet friend that's just there but it makes all the diff.
