I'd just stick to neversink semi-strict and if you are doing expedition and getting your gear with Rog, then after 90 I'd just go for strict and just manually disable bascally all rare armours :)

I'd go for standard expedition + essence to craft super basic gear until 90, then I'd craft rest of the gear with Rog, farm as many logbooks as possible and one you are good to go, go for the Sanctums :) Otherwise just farm expedition and hope for Tujen giving you divs!

@@brusui9021 Yeah I just usually go until like lvl 90 on a filter with like 1-max2 of the best bases for EV/AR showing and ID them to get some upgrades (earlier in the run more often than not) and once I hit 90 and use Rog I basically hide everything since it's worthless to pick stuff up from the ground. Only fractured/veiled items could drop pretty good, so I pick up and ID those :)

I'd say if you got levelled Grace, it will add enough defence that it's worth it. Remember that Grace is useful only for Eater of Worlds (and MAYBE Maven due to the bosses she spawns and ofc Invitations), but you want to run Haste on the rest of them if you want more offence and just run one of the Purities + Tempest Shield for defense :)

Honestly in case of automated build - maybe a little when it comes to the automated version, although I always preferred the cooldown recovery rate as the quality of choice, so I'm probably very biased :D For the self-cast convo it's not really a big change since you cast it when you are "on" the enemy anyway :)

Definitely! Even for Necro it's a good one :) I played the DD build that I've posted here and then - after just getting bored of it, I switched to this one without much respeccing :)

That's actually a fair point :D I haven't been around during the onslaught league, though. But for sure, those are intrusive mechanics, too.

Exactly what ​ @sefr3064 said - armabrand, crema -> farm in merc lab. In normal lab you can't get the 50/50 gem swap (transform into transfigured).

I got a very scuffed one, but I might make one from a scratch for some future guide :) At this time I'd recommend just taking one from other DD guides, this should be quite similar! Or just use standard Neversink's :)

This is more of an all-rounder build, but trust me - mapping is VERY fast. If you want, you could check out the Cast on Crit Inquisitor version from Ruetoo. That build has been floating around recently and it's REALLY good :)

@@Elixi_R That looks interesting too, but I'm mainly curious from an SCSSF perspective. Looks like it might be tricky to get the CoC Inquis build online in early league start with an SSF perspective...

Yeah, I think I've not mentioned it, but you usually that much of chill during, mostly because of the inc aliment effect on the tree. The thing is - on bosses you won't get nearly as much from the corpses, if any. If you want CoC - check out the CoC Inquis version of this build, there should be something on youtube already :D

That's why if you read in the PoB you can see with a huge green text in skills section that you replace FASTER CASTING with arcanist brand, not the flame dash ;)

@@Elixi_R Have you tried that? Be honest. Open your game right now and try that and tell me if you can still cast Flame Dash.

@@Elixi_R Best-case scenario, people realize, and then it just doesn't work. Worst case scenario...it teleports people to the boss they cast Arcanist Brand on while they're on HC and then they die... Think about how easily that can happen too. DD switches to a lot of this stuff after reaching maps and farming any gems they need. The build works fine, but once you get to a boss, you swap gems to Arcanist Brand. Then mid-boss fight, you find you keep teleporting to the boss uncontrollably. Then you try pressing your trusty flame dash to get away, but it doesn't work. It's a very big deal and a very big thing to overlook. Please test your builds.

In general they are on similar level of power, I'd say the merc lab will take you max 20-25 runs even if you are unlucky. Farming merc lab gives you a lot of gear in the beginning which is also nice (if you play HC). That being said - for me personally it's way more fun to play chaining DD since I've played ignite version like 2000 times.

i just tested lab running and it took me 3 runs to get chain dd so considering that you will need some good gear after campaing it should be fine to do lab a bit

Ignite is probably easier to play on bosses if you know what you are doing. You don't need to farm for the transfigured gem and you also get better damage uptime unless you are an absolute beast at the game. I'd say its also better for sanctum farming if that's a content you'd like to indulge in :) Regarding tankiness - it's a little better day 1 due to the elemental shield, but necro will be able to get similar / better level of tankiness a little bit later OR if you spec into block :)

Probably chaining a little better in some turbo endgame scenario, if you can get forbidden jewel pairs and BiS items :)@@magnusbard

If you don't get hit, everything is tanky enough :P. But jokes aside - this one is definitely a build that you'd use to progress UP to ubers and farm the gear out. I mean, Ben did it on very low investment gear, but that's more of a skill thing, than build really being uber ready. If you don't minmax it to the oblivion, you will probably die on ubers

no real idea, I usually ran some kind of pathfinder transcendence build with ED, but now due to flask and mana cost changes there might be a more optimal setup :)@@Kenny-zs4zg

Exactly, Necro is hit-based with transfigured gem (which you will need to farm out in lab on league start, so be aware of that!) and ignite is elementalist, there are great guides on that one (recommend imexile ones) :)

Yeah, well I'd just recommend checking out high level chain dd from HC league on poe.ninja or something since I have no idea. But Ben's is a good reference for up to Ubers. I wouldn't try Ubers on HC with his level of gear since I'd probably rip instanty :P@@Daijinthetripod

Good choice! It definitely dodged it pretty hard. I was expecting for it to get 20% less damage nerfs, but in the end - still a godly build!

Sorry mate, this is an SSF guide, too. I'd probably go and check poe.ninja softcore builds on there. I've seen people using some fun stuff with Forbidden Flesh/Flame (and getting chieftain node for getting more fire damage). But I don't have anything for you personally :/

Whenever patch notes drop, I'll probably make a short update video on this guide and there I'll go through a league start. But in general essence -> all the way up to kirac mission -> take rest of the essence nodes -> stream of consciousness -> expedition nodes at any time you feel like you'd rather start farming it. The rest up to your own needs :)

It really depends on your gear. Getting that much suppression will be a challenge, but this is sounds good enough. I'd say determination + grace. If you want to be absolutely safe, just use bone offering instead of flesh one. 20sth block doesn't sound that much, but with tempest shield and shield in offhand it makes a difference :)

Yeah, although there's the alt quality Raise Spectre gem, but I'm not sure if it works and whether it maybe bricks something about corpses hp pool. I'm doubtful that it does, but who knwos

For league start scenario leveling, there's no gear that you can get. You need to level this just as anyone else and there's only lvl12 example gear with all blue gear with some resistances. Then there's "Twink Leveling" section which is exactly what it says - twink leveling. This is the gear that you could put on when this isn't your first build of the league and you want to go faster through the campaign :)

While that's true, it is increasingly hard to find high-health corpses like Kitava Herald or Auric Colossus, so this brings highly diminishing returns, but sure - if you try very hard, you might be able to get all 9. I'd say this is not important for the purpose of the early/mid-game build though.

Yea! As long as you got 5 spectres and go with them into your hideout, you will have them added automatically to your desecrate pool, just dont forget to respec your tree afterwards, I might or might've not made a mistake of forgetting myself :)
