How To Balance Parenting and Productivity (The Unpopular Truth)
This is actually a *GREAT* review mostly because it's the little things that you mention that makes it make that much *MORE* sense.
Have you faced any errors while using the box I heard about them befor
Now try testing both at 4am lol
I have and it's definitely faster at 4am lol
How is this compared to Star Link?
It's faster, cheaper and has a much faster ping than Starlink. But Starlink seems to work everywhere and 5G Home Internet is available in only a few places. I would recommend 5G over Starlink if you can get it, but if you can get Cable Broadband or Fiber I would recommend that over other options.
Which one would recommend for gaming and I’ll be plug in the Ethernet not wifi, I been looking into T-Mobile att and xfinity 5g home internet? Which one
Where I live, T-Mobile is definitely the best experience I've had with 5G. New video coming soon!
@ thanks looking forward to it
if you want faster speeds dont have them on next to each other. it causes interference and place it next to a window and use it as a modem only get ur own router and trust speeds will improve. also dont put it next to any objects
I agree, you are right but I didn't notice speeds any faster in other locations, not next to each other, etc. Getting your own router wouldn't necessarily speed up internet speeds in my case because the WiFi was still faster than the internet connection.
Thank you, this was very informative and helpful. I'm trying to weigh whether getting StarLink or a 5G service in a rural area.
Great, glad it was helpful. What did you decide to get?
@@ConsumerTechJoe likely to go with the ATT's Internet Air.
I could have switched to AT&T if they had supported for traveling. I can move to every state with my Verizon home internet.
Have you tested that? I put my Verizon cube into the campervan for a trip from WA, ID, OR, UT, NV, and CA and it only worked well at home. My understanding was that it is locked to your home tower for full speeds. We were only able to get 3G speeds anywhere else, which was a huge disappointment.
Having the two wifi signal sources so close together can be degrading both WiFi signals
That's definitely true, but since the only had traffic on them one at a time, I didn't see lower speeds than when I only had one setup.
Resolve's auto align sucks. It has worked exactly zero times for me. I'm never going back to Premiere but at least their sync worked every time.
It's not perfect, but i did notice it got better with 19.1. Being able to select which track you want to align to in 19.1 has helped a lot as well, at least in terms of workflow.
I had the Hub for like 6 month's and it's totally garbage wifi connection and bandwidth. I only have a Xbox S connected to the Hub and I can't play my games or watch UA-cam with this bullshit 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡💩
Watch for the new video soon, but I recently dumped the All-Fi Hub for T-Mobile and it's a night-and-day difference. I was having too many issues, and T-Mobile is just way faster for me, where I'm located at least.
do you know how to set the screen time on this device
I'm not sure if that's an option on this device or not, thank you for your question and best of luck to you.
@ I cant find it. so the time on the screen is wrong time now。i dont know jow to fix it
Will this ATT Air work with an older Dell desktop (2013) that is Windows 7?
Yes it will, so long as your have either WIFI or a LAN port on your laptop. Good luck!
Meanwhile stuck at 480p and buffering with the WiFi Egg. 5G has gotta be the absolute worst thing to happen. Once 5G came around LTE started acting worse.
I wonder why that is, did they switch LTE towers over to 5G?
why don't we build these into our devices... why can't my TV have a built in Internet Air?
Great idea, that's probably next. Watches have it already.
Why can't anyone follow the simply directions to scan the code? Just makes you look silly. We got the ATT Air and have 552Mbps down and 43.37Mbps up. We're about 2000 feet from the tower.
Yeah lol I would recommend just scanning the code, but I wanted to just hook it up and have it work. Those are great speeds! Thanks for the tower distance, I'm wondering how much of a different the distance from the tower makes.
@@ConsumerTechJoe Patience you must have, my young Padawan.
I use the USB 3.0 as a thumbdrive. You can play movies off it lol. I know it s a weird use. But you can do other things as well
That's clever!
I have T-Mobile I get 400 down and 60 up. In the middle of the night speeds jump up to 600 down..
I've heard great things about T-Mobile! Their 5G home internet isn't offered here yet, weird since their headquarters if 40 minutes away.
Vzw throttles the 5g to 150 Mbps on the $35 plan. But my VZW phone gets 400 Mbps from the same tower. That ATT box is hideous and huge. Also, I doubt the wifi range is as good as VZW. That 5g VZW box has tremendous wifi range.
That's crazy!
If you have a Verizon cell plan then the 5G internet is $35 a month, every month with no introductory hump.
T-Mobile headquarters is in Seattle. Why aren’t you testing T-Mobile?
The T-Mobile 5G Home Internet isn't offered where I live, but hopefully soon.
you look homeless
I got 302 on t mobile its very good
Awesome that's fast!
Sir i am confused between soundcore life dot 3i vs soundcore R50i NC both at same price. Plz suggest
I'm not familiar with the R50 but my SoundCore Life Dot 3i are still going strong today!
I've had AT&T Internet Air for about six months now and it has been excellent. I visited the AT&T store for a different matter and and was asked if I would like to sign up for it and seeing how my internet was already crap I decided what could it hurt so I did and that was an excellent decision. My speed went from 18mbs down to over 500mbs down. Of course the speed varies but that is to be expected. There have been about three disruptions with the service and the last one was so long ago I can't remember when it was so it is reliable. If there is a problem I just reboot the modem and I'm up and running. Individuals say the modem is big and unsightly but I don't mind it at all, besides I am not watching the modem. I couldn't be happier with this service.
your using Wi-Fi to do test so that will slow down your speed try with the ethernet directly and my see if you get improvement
Great suggestion! Let's find out where the bottleneck is!
I am mortified w/ it 😩😩😩😩😵💫😵💫😵😵sick of it stating I live in Detroit when I live in Tennessee get their news etc., You should not have to find areas in your house for its best output switching like frrrfrrr
Which AT&T internet air plan did you go with ?
Mine looks different and looks like the xfinity hub rectangular
That's cool I want that one!
65$ monthly?
I'm paying $55 monthly.
Does these have multi-point connectivity? I saw somewhere that's these didn't had initially but Soundcore added them later via a software update. Can you confirm? Thanks.
I only pair them to one device, I haven't seen any info about if they can pair to a second device.
@@ConsumerTechJoeI just got them at an insane deal and these have multi point connectivity! Maybe it was added later via a firmware update.
I was considering getting a pair and was wondering if the anker ones have removal detection, so they play pause when you remove one
They don't pause when you take out only one, but they do pause once you place them both back in the case. Hope this helps!
A high quality video!
Thanks for the love!
I don't know why AT&T Puts 2 ports, 1 Gbps, and 10 Gb for the LAN CABLE, even though the download speed is not more than 250 Mbps! :-) Funny, ha?
Maybe it supports mm Wave?
Yeah I'm not sure why they do that.
no FUCKING CLUE what your talking about--- no screen shots, and you talk WAY TO FAST!!!.. Clearly people are noobs or we wouldn't be here, and you speak like we know what the fuck you talking about... video sucks friend!!!!
good video all way around really want att air its available in my area finally
Awesome let us know how you like it!
47,000 people that viewed your video and all these lazy people didnt sub
Hey, keep up the good work bro. Keep the channel up. You’ll be at 100 K before you know it
Thank you!
having a big egg that brings you wifi is so whimsical
It definitely is!!!
Verizon Wireless Home internet in my rural area is giving 10.86 Download MBPS / 0.68 MBPS UPLOAD.!! lol
Yikes! I bet people don't stick around long for that. I hope you find something better soon!
I just got ATT Internet Air and the all-Fi hub looks like the one they use for business. I don’t think they send out that pillow looking one anymore which is a good thing.
I'm looking into that! The pillow looking thing is acting like it's overheating on warm days, even though it has a fan inside it!
How long have you been using this air internet i got internet AT&T for my opening small business i got appointment from the technician they said they will be coming today to install and wiring up then no body showed up and i call them they said that it's actually Air nobody has to come and install wires or something all i need to go one of the store and get the device and set it up my own so i got confused is this air wifi reliable for small business i haven't picked up the device yet please help me out with questions in my mind guys have a blessed day you all Hi from Texas /Little elm
I’ve been using Internet Air for a month now. No installation is needed. You just plug in the router where you get the best the signal. They shipped it to me but I have the home version.
Is the Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz? My cameras and security requires 2.4.
Great question! It is dual-radio, so it uses both. By default it only has a single SSID that is shared, but I changed mine so that the 5G radio has it's own SSID so I don't have to get bogged down by my slower devices.
Who tf uploads 60gb of data on a mf hotspot. Verizon and ATT are selling hotspots essentially, and you wanna treat it like actual WiFi. THATS CRAZY. Why would you make a video on something you’re ignorant at 😭
1:23 10GB port? 🤔
Yeah it's a 10GB port to plug into a router or straight into a computer that supports it.
I think that when building these videos - that anytime you are actually working and describing that you cut to the Resolve screen - several times in this you used terms like - click here, or when I right click and add this etc. the tutorial shot is on your talking head. The video will be easier to follow if you only use the talking head to talk about things in general and then cut to the screen, when explaining a process. Just a suggestion.
I goofed up here, and I want to apologize - when I did the screen record, for some reason it didn't capture any of the windows that I opened within Davinci. I'm working on how to fix this for future videos.
Since you're talking about audio, did you notice that your beard rubs against your lav mic? I can also hear your fan :) The latter can be easily fixed in post. You can try to clip your lav under your shirt for the former.
Yes! Thank you so much, I'm learning more about audio right now. Thanks for you patience, and for your advice!
I just got my at&t box , i got some good speeds , 605 download , 100 upload, compared to the verizon home internet , 200 download , 40 upload , both are by the window , it really depends where you live ,
Absolutely and most definitely depends on where you live .. att used to be the worst here where I live we literally only had dsl as an option few years later .. after Verizon @85/monthly shitty boost and mint mobile/tmobile now I have all my Apple devices connected via Apple with way better coverage! Speed varies but my coverage is ridiculous.. my iPad mini cellular is faster than or was faster than my at home internet 🛜 Verizon plus I can take it with me Soo basically long story short.. it depends on your location not the device
Nice, that's fast! How far are you from the tower??
Yeah the speeds vary by location, network traffic, distance from the tower, and other factors.
have you tried starlink
No not yet, it's more expensive and I'm mostly getting the speed I need. Maybe someday?
i feel like this i the same power supply they use for the BGW 320 fiber ONT
Crazy, maybe they manufactured this for AT&T?
what's with the white nose in this video? does every dji mic sounds like this?
No it's not the mic, there's a faint fan running in the background. I'm learning how to EQ my audio in Davinci and I'm clearly not very good at it, my apologies, but I hope you still got something from the video! Thanks for tuning it.
