@@hotrodjuniorWell, it's my first LS Engine. I Bought a Truck Norris Cam and accessories, then started looking at tuning, then started looking at compression, as in 243-799 heads. Then recently been contemplating the best Exhaust set up, so far a 2.5" Dual with crossover, not x . The 4l80e trans needs addressed too...

Use LS3 heads! 68cc chambers. Mill them. Why use inferior cathedral heads when you're starting with a bare 6.0? Do you guys hate 480-500 wheel with a cam and LS3 intake manifold??

I have LS3 heads for this engine she’s going to be built for boost! Just saving up for pistons/rods now!

My truck has a 6.0 with 243s and it bumped the compression up and it makes good power with a sloppy stage 3 cam and I just have a pre 96’ 4l80 in it!

@@TheBanshee17-SS supercharger, if I was just going N/A I would run a more aggressive cam like a GPI stage 3 or a max lift cam.

If you look at my more recent videos I just put my truck on E85 man I love the smell of it lol, probably going to add a few more degrees of timing once I get the pump gas out of the ethanol mix!

She’s rowdy bro I have stock 2:73 ratio gears so she doesn’t do digs lol but a 40 roll she will throw the fuck down, haven’t took a lost yet and it’s just a heads cam truck! Im swapping it over to a shortbed frame and will be bringing the truck back and this time she will get a proper set of gears. I love the sloppy stage 3 cam, and I highly recommend it!

I'm going with that setup with a3800 stall and rebuilt 60e see if it hold's in rcsb chevy

Exactly, the guy told us it just needed a new crank because it spun a rod bearing but we knew there was more to the story so we pulled it apart to find that it was completely trashed🤣❕

This was the first start it was running super lean because of a bad coil pack ground, have you plugged in a laptop and made changes to your fuel table based on the fuel leant table?

Hey Kevin I’ve been driving the hell out of this truck it’s seen 20 degree weather here in Ky rain sleet and everything and it hasn’t given me any issues. Snow shouldn’t be one either I have the fan pulling through the radiator which in return is blowing on the ground the reason I have it pulling and not pushing is because I didn’t want the fan to be sucking up water and road debris and potentially a bag or something. If you have any more questions just let me know!

@@cmendez522ify how hot did it get? And have you verified that’s it’s running the whole time that the vehicle is running or that it’s kicking on when the thermostat or trigger is telling it to?

@@youngbuckrefrigeration716 the more airflow the better but it kept my transmission happy where it’s at, I eventually added 3” aluminum rods to drop it down some, I thought it was overworking and getting heat sinked but come to find out my power wire somehow worked it’s way under my cab bushing and grounded out.

I 10/10 recommend G💯
