HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!! I hope you had a great spooky month and Halloween, I sure did! Part of it was working on this, my biggest drawing yet, for nearly every day! I am so happy with how it turned out! Go check it out on my DeviantArt (link in Desc.) if you want to see all the details. And now heres the little story behind the drawing: Twilight only wanted to try out a new spell she had learned, to make the costumes of her friends seem a bit more realistic for the upcoming Nightmare Night! But she didn’t specify how realistic she wanted them to be, and so the costumes of AJ, Rarity and Fluttershy became alive, merging with their owners, turning them into the monster they had disguised themselves as, making them attack their friends! As for Rainbow Dash, rushing to help Twilight, she unfortunately happened to stumble upon an Ovomorph (a egg containing a Facehugger from the movie "Alien") that Discord had placed by Fluttershy‘s cottage earlier as a lil Nightmare Night Prank

When I first heard the intro of Charlie and the chocolate factory, it reminded me of aliens from Area 51 which were creating a factory full of cyborgs.

I've never seen your videos before but this is a perfect introduction to your art. It looks awesome. And sorry to hear you fell out of love with art. I know that feeling. I am currently trying to combat that. Trying to remind myself that its supposed to be fun and not a chore. I want to work in the art industry one day so hopefully I can get passed this feeling. But I wish you luck in all your art endevours. keep on drawing on.

Hey just enjoy what u love doing it doesn't matter what other think. Would it be possible to turn this into a MLPxH.p lovecraft drawing series. It would be interesting to see how the world would change now that Twilight has unleashed the elder ones. I love ur art this was just a suggestion.

Well, I‘m finally back to drawing and posting again! Here’s an somewhat explanation on why I haven’t posted anything in over 7 months: To sum it all up, I no longer enjoyed drawing… Over the past year I had become more and more perfectionistic with my art and kept setting myself higher expectations on what my art should look like. Drawing no longer felt like a fun hobby but more like an obligation. And no matter how the drawing turned out it just didn’t feel “perfect“ enough. But I finally managed to realize that drawing and art is not about it being perfect, because in my opinion there’s no such thing as the perfect artwork. Everyone’s got their own style and level of skill, and I am finally able to start letting go of the unhealthy perfectionism and expectations that kept me from enjoying drawing. What really helped me was looking at my old art and thinking back to what it was like to just draw without thinking too much about if the anatomy, shading, etc. is perfect. Back then I just had fun with my art, and I wanna return to that. I am now back to just drawing whatever I feel like drawing, and whatever that turns out to be will be just right.
