I contacted Jet Black yesterday about the auto calibration which was introduced- I got a response saying that the firmware update v3.13 has REMOVED this and they "hope" to reintroduce it in a later release (Seems it was crap and/or causing issues) I asked about manual calibration and was advised to do this "once a week after at least 10 minutes warming up the unit"....

I bought one as a "backup" for my Kickr V5...I got it for £209 here in the UK from SportsDirect and upgraded the firmware to v3.13. I'm currently using it as yes, the V5 died on me last week between Zwift sessions. It's an excellent trainer and the HRM being bridged into it on bluetooth then sent to Zwift is simply brilliant (no I don't use ATV I take it seriously and have built a top notch i5-13500/RTX4060ti PC!!!) but a few things I'm not clear on... 1/ is it V1 or V2? What is the difference- what serial number or features or physical things differentiate them? 2/ Does it need calibrated each ride or just the first time used? I saw this firmware was supposed to have auto calibration ? I calibrated it first time then at the end of that session I calibrated it while it was warm. Tonight the power to speed was way off so I stopped and recalibrated and it was ok after that.....but I'd rather not have to do this , one of the reasons I bought the V5 was getting fed up with manual calibration!

My volt skips gears, when i change gear nothing happens and starts making a horrible noise but dont change gear or i change gear and skip one gears. Any one had the same problem??

How do you clean the nozzle?

I bought the product and after a month of use it began to make a lot of noise. Something broke. The importer still keeps me waiting. It is not a product that I can recommend.

Is it possible to get a replacement adapter for quick release? I’ve moved from thru axle to QR and I’ve lost the adapter!

Does any XDR freehub body work with this trainer or does it have to be specifically from JetBlack?

Couldn't wait to unbox my new Jet Black rocker plate. Riding without a rocker plate on my Wahoo Kickr Core is like riding on a brick wall. Being a don't read instructions type, I put 27psi in the left balloon and 47psi in the other. BANG! 2 orange balloon rockets lifted off into the ceiling - 1 stuck there. Jet Black kindly sent me replacements. 10 psi is the maximum recommended. BUT WAIT - In the interim, I pushed 6 tennis balls into the sandwich cavity, and it works so well, I'm yet to use the Jet Black balloons. I highly recommend this product and now look forward to any indoor ride.

Total junk. This is nothing like the M5 trainer I’ve purchased. Buyer beware I guess :(

I'm getting close to pulling plug on this device. Above/below comments all correct. And after update to 3.0 cannot connect (with anything) to the trainer.

Do these prevent vibration through floor?

I bought 1 . Is it supposed to feel "wobbly" at the back wheel of the rollers. Something just done feel right. almost like watching a car wheel that was not tightened correctly, but the roller is tightened.

I have alignment issue with my Giant TCR advanced 2 thru axle. No issues with the gears with my wheel on. With the training it is making a lot of gear noise and not shifting right. Can you confirm the compatibility?

Can you please confirm if the trainer is compatible with a 2021 BMC Teammachine? The teammachine has an internal cap for the thru axle on the drive side.

I've tried 100 times but I'm unable to connect my Polar Vintage M to the JetBlack Volt. It 'pairs' on my watch but its never visible in the app. Is it also normal that there only appears 1 sensor at the smart trainer section (the sensor doesn't appear at the other sections)? Please improve the user experience of your app!
