I’ve ordered a octa but can’t find the raised intakes on the uk website 😔
Thanks for commenting. Yeah, unfortunately Land Rover doesn't offer the Octa Raised Intakes in the build configurator. I should have provided the direct link. Thank you for reminding me. They are on Land Rover's separate accessories specific website under Defender > Exterior Styling at this (UK) LINK: accessories.landrover.com/gb/en/land-rover-defender/exterior/exterior-protection/vplep0549-carbon-fibre-twin-raised-air-intakes/ 👍😎
The Jaguar XJ8 every day. I have one sat outside!

Mercedes V12😊❤🇩🇪
Excellent idea , Jaguar is known for its superb electrics .

I miss my D2 !! and my D3 what a monster.
Love the Jaguar X308 XJR and the BMW E38 :)
All cars whatever the make have issues, most are caused by missed or shoddy services, bodged repairs and owners ignoring the tell tail signs or sounds of an issue starting to show. I own a P38 range rover and now i have fixed the problems caused by the previous owner trying to bodge repairs by spending 50p it is as reliable as any car i have ever owned, still on AIR suspension and original V8 engine, 197,800 miles i would confidently take it to anywhere across europe and back to blighty.
Luv the P38! 👍😎
Im 63. Iv obviously onlt had fuled cars and vans, i brought a phev but just couldn't stand plugging in every day, just to achieve 35 miles. I really enjoyed the ev side and not the engine. Iv now traded it in and brought a i pace and love the drivability and feel of brilliant road holding. All i can say is. Electric far exceeds an engine and theres fun round corners. Lots of it. Yes the range is limited for now but we've got to adapt to a new way of motoring. Oil and gas is needed by industry and while there's enough for another few hundred years. Its getting harder to get at, and so much more expensive to extract. So us poor general public will have to go fully electric for everything.so industry can still operate economically. Don't be a dinosaur. Because you'll be the one to loose.
The original just can't be outdone no matter the tech, mine is only on 84,000 miles to date and good as new
Really sad. I drove Jags for 20 years and then took a break for a Porsche Caynne. Just traded it for an F-Pace just before all this news hit. I am disgusted. The F-Pace is a great vehicle and shows the level of incompetence of this current management. I am opposed to a 100% EV culture and so is most of the buying public. Someone please buy Jag and fix it!
Did you get the f pace SVR, it's fantastic.
It is so sad and disgusting as a jaguar Owner I sit back. and shake my head at the current decisions made by incompetent management of Jaguar and I thought the management under British Leyland was bad these guys make the management under British Leyland look like geniuses. I’m sorry to say, but the corporate management of Jaguar is helping the company go the way of the dinosaurs.
Number 1 looks sleek, but interior and techwise number 5. I've just hit sub and hope for more rr content. Maybe something about adaptive dynamics suspension in l322?

Glad I am not a Jaguar dealer.
I own a L322 2008 and I love it , thanks for the video and all the información
Excellent! More car topics and news coming soon too. 👍😎
I think it's the end of jag , sad because I've had jags for the last 15yes , my wife xf & evoque for the last 10 . We don't want an ev so won't be buying one
All EV society is not sustainable. Too much electric draw for fleets and condominiums. A city wouldn't be able to support all the draw on the electric system. EVs are part of the globalist propaganda.
for me the number 4 as I own one ☺
Number 1 thank you. MY2005 is the one for me. Thank you for your video. 18:26
l322 supercharged grill is the best
All ev's are well on the road to oblivion, the capitalist well worn truism is " give the people what they want" NOT doma driven net zero BS! Then you will recover the company, if not then thanks for everything you did right and goodbye!
L322 original (number 1) is the peak Range Rover to me. It is a classic.
L322 was a work of genius
The most reliable 2
Owned them all
Very comprehensive video. Thank you
Jaguar is making a big mistake - people aren't buying electric cars.
10% increase sales of EVs in UK. China 50% Norway 75%
Soon they will
I certainly like my 08 SC with Terrain Response.
Correction, EV's are Not "highly desirable" is only true if it had a v8 synthetic fuelled engine, they are going down! Unfortunately. Porsche are going the v8 e-fuel route so Jaguar better wake up quick most people dont want ev's, why ignore the trend? This could be the demise of the great Jaguar mark. AC.Ipswich UK ps. I own a 504 hp v8 xkr petrol jag. So I know what works well.
e fuel? tell that to china, they will laugh at you. ICE cars are banned post 2030, where should jaguar sell then?
Hydrogen £150 a tank. Eco fuel £7.50 a litre. Then add tax. Plus it doesn't go far. About 75% against petrol.
I still run a 2007 L322 with the TDV8 engine
Excellent video. Really well researched and presented. Well done.
Thank you. I really appreciate this.
You didn't mention the terrible level of reliability Which Range Rover is famous to
Oooh u mean wat u can't afford
Range Rovers have issues, but they rarely stop. I've had the Classics, P38A and now a 2008 L322 TDV8. This one is a very good car. Very reliable, doesn't use oil or water, better to drive than most new cars, safe and just unrivalled in Norwegian winterconditions when the weather gets rough.
Number 5, new sub great info, thanks for sharing. Cheers.
No 1 please hehe!
Too little too late! It’s over
lol its not started yet, they are investing $18 billion.
@@praneethjayasimha5943you do realise 18 billion is nothing really don't you. So clearly there's not much investment. I wonder what that means.
@@kevatnorthfield jaguar is a small brand. Do you realise ferrari is investing only $4.4 billion for electrification?
Wow they obviously are out of touch with consumers. No one wants a EV, the only way they sell is with tax payer funded government incentives which are no longer available and the ones that have all seem to be wanting to go back to ice vehicles and suffering from the fact the depreciation on them is horrendous. I find it amazing they haven't noticed the other manufacturers back tracking to avoid financial ruin in the name of the green agenda. I drive a EV for work on a daily basis and I sure as hell wouldn't buy one. Tata Jaguar it will be a shame to see your imminent demise. RIP
norway- 100% ev germany - 30% europe-20% China- 50% The world is moving away mate. you are out of touch with the world.
@@praneethjayasimha5943 4 countries out of 195. Norway heavily subsidised the EV fleet and is a small country that already used alternatives like push bikes and public transport. China builds the lions share of EVs and who knows what the government incentives are there, use or dissapear. Germany's car manufacturers are already regretting going down the EV path and are going away from it as is Europe. And you call me out of touch lol. I drive a Audi Etron on a daily basis for work I would not buy a EV. I will stick to my supercharged V8 Jaguar. What do you drive?
@@praneethjayasimha5943 Do you work for Jaguar? If you do it might pay to keep a eye on the situations vacant. Unfortunately I can't see them lasting long RIP.
@@Aldoor tata group know how to build a sustainable business. jaguar's future is safe and strong.
@@praneethjayasimha5943 Only time will tell. Seems odd that all the other manufacturers are heading away from EV and the market is now flooded with unsold EV's. I think your faith in Tata may be misguided. The bubble has burst no one wants EVs anymore. Tata are obviously oblivious to this and will hopefully realise before it is to late. Oh and did you see my questions? Work for Tata? Do you own or drive a EV? If you don't own or drive one you have no idea.
Wrong ALL LAND ROVERS ARE CONSIDER THE MOST UNRELIABLE VEHICLES ON THE Road . TOTAL TURDS. THEY SHOULD HIRE LEXUS TO TEACH THEM HOW MAKE REAL QUALITY VEHICLES
And their still in business y yo not the target market
What about the XJ????
I always loved the XJ. There were rumors Jag might use XJ for one of these new ultra-luxury models - probably not true though since Jag is moving onward and upward. However, maybe at some point in the future.
Jaguar are Finished. Breaks my heart. No one wants 100k + EV's
Totally respect your opinion and I love a V8 and V12 too, but it's likely the future. Jag is just jumping in first with an entirely new lineup that's all-electric. Other brands, such as Porsche, are slowly easing everyone into it. The Porsche Taycan is selling extremely well and the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre is too (for it's segment) and it doesn't have the range (only 264 miles). You can bet Bentley is just around the corner and watching Jag closely. According to JLR, the new Jags will have 430 miles of EV range to start - and battery tech is advancing quickly so range will continue to increase. Maybe 1,000 horsepower from these new Jags too? Maybe? Electric car tech has advanced a lot since a decade ago but it's still just the beginning. However, ultra-exotics such as Bugatti and Pagani will likely offer ICE for a while. But I totally get and respect what you're saying. Just makes the classic Jags even more special - and I kinda like that too.
@@MikeyLikesCars Hi Mikey. Porsche have seen a huge drop in demand for the new Taycan, as have Tesla and all premium EV makers. Any demand for EV's is politically led rather than by demand from buyers, now the carrots of free road tax and cheap charging are going away, more that half of original EV buyers are going back to ICE. With thousands of acres of surplus cars to shift, the cheap Chinese imports which have to come, will kill off all Western makers who put all their eggs in the EV basket. I stick by my prediction that Jaguar will cease production by the late 2020's unless they keep at least some of the ICE models current. Anything else is just commercial suicide.
@@fx02zbn EDITED TO CLARIFY MY ORIGINAL RESPONSE - I hear what you are saying but I respectfully disagree. I'm on both sides - meaning I like EV and ICE. I'm a car enthusiast and I love great products. It's a new direction for Jaguar and I definitely wouldn't want to see Jaguar disappear. I wish them lots of long-term success. It would be nice if Jag made an all-new ICE powered fourth model to go along with their three new EV-Only models - an ICE V12 Supercar styled similar to their previous C-X75 would be very nice! BUT they're moving forward - onward and upward.
@@MikeyLikesCarsI agree that electric will be the future at some point. But to get to the future you have to go through the present so I don't see Jaguar surviving going all EV right now.
@@Robotron5000Deluxe Thanks for commenting. Hopefully exciting times ahead for Jag. The latest from JLR suggests they'll take a timed approach in launching each new Jag model and let the excitement and anticipation build until then with a huge global marketing campaign for Jaguar likely launching soon after they unveil their first concept, which I'd expect sometime this year. Expecting Jaguar will want to launch with the right product at the right time. They don't seem to be in any rush - especially since they'll be moving up into the performance ultra-luxury segment, which will be exclusive and luxury product driven instead of mass premium sales driven. Stay tuned. 👍😎
Great work. Subscribed
Thank you. I really appreciate this. More great car topics and info coming soon too.
@@MikeyLikesCars Nice. More Jag and Land Rover please.
@@frasermoo Definitely! More coming soon.
Excellent commentary...thanks! Subscribed. I always liked the Jaguars. I have a great, very reliable Honda Civic as a daily...but I have an XK convertible Jag that I really love....such a beautiful car.
Thank you. Jag XK Convertibles are gorgeous!
Very cool video! My favorite is #3, the 2009 SC (maybe because i have one )😂
Our 2007 was magic until a blower motor repair at 78K miles cost nearly 30% of the cars value to repair. Thought it was time let it go before something else went wrong, probably a mistake.
That's definitely a costly repair. 2007 is probably my favorite year - that updated interior too. All model years still look great after all these years though. Actually, all model full-size Range Rovers still look great. Like many Ferrari, Aston Martins, Jags - all Range Rovers seem to age very well into gorgeous classics.
@@MikeyLikesCars 👍
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I'm in love with the first L322 from 2002-2005. I love its design since I first saw it on the road and next year I'm finally going to buy a good one (at least, I hope 😊).
Over engineered in all the worst places. Not reliable, and not easy to work on, huge money pit on 4 wheels.
Speak for your self. A maintained L322 even after all these years are solid. They aren't difficult to work on, just take your time it isn't a Honda.
How many l322 have you owned and worked on ?
@@JIMWSMITH like most people on the net. Probably none nor driven one. They just like to talk out the ass. Or they bought the cheapest one they can find that wasn’t maintained properly.
TRASH IS TRASH
@@stop_lying_bro exactly so true I have one with 97 thousand miles that has no problems and is extremely maintained People just believe what they want to believe and treat the car like garbage
Number #1 has to be the greatest! As if that didn’t succeed the legacy would not have continued
Why jaguar discounted i pace ?
I-Pace is great! - But Jaguar is moving into ultra-luxury to compete with Bentley. All-new Jaguar models coming soon.
Very articulate item
