yup, NVH is not very good. i added sound deadening on the sides and rear. helped minimize road noise.

sorry late reply. what did you get po? in terms of build quality, i think hrv is better overall. the complains you heard about yx are all true, unfortunately. and it's slow to launch which kills some of the fun.

true, it's not the engine, it's the cvt. very evident when launching from dead stop 😆 i have 1.3 manual and that is more fun to launch.

@@MrKockabilly depending on the speed you're cruising. i think the engine noise starts to get into the cabin at 3krpm or maybe even less. however, the sound deadening project really helped in dampening the road noise. this is all i have on the sound deadening DIY: facebook.com/groups/yariscrossph/posts/835601911585251/

yong PCS nya di lng para sa sayo as the driver, pero mas lalong para sa ibang driver na bumili lng ng lisensya sa kung saan2x gaya ng driver ng pickup na to. ✌️

light taps lng sa brake pedal if necessary. tapos upshift lang din or gas lightly kung medyo bibilis ng konti yong sinusundan.

damn, this reply is very late already. anyway, LDA is spot on with this DNGA Yaris Cross. however, LTA is not as good as the TNGA models, i.e. corolla cross, corolla sedan. you mostly end up bouncing from side to side of your lane. the car couldn't seem to maintain the center path.

Try to check if the glove box was put back properly, the bottom part might have loosened, causing some resistance when opening it.

na try ko lng Raize Turbo on a quick test drive. but re engine braking, yes pronounced yong kay yaris, usually at 30kph and 15kph. pero not all the time din.

it's somewhat a steep incline and peak torque comes in at 4k rpm, that's why :) Sport/Manual po gamit ko para mag stick yong gear position.

with its power train configuration (lack of low-end torque paired with a cvt), at speed ka dapat when tackling uphills. otherwise, hirap talaga siya. lalo na mag full-stop on inclines. try nyo nlng i time ang uphills na di mahinto.

Di ko gets kung ano meaning nung 1m , 2m, 3m up to 4m lang nagawa ko pero automatic sya bumababa uli dahan-dahan kapag bumabagal din ako? iniisip ko na lang yun na parang primera, segunda, tresera, kwarta at quinta depending sa odo meter din?

@@babsyboy yes bro yon yong gear nya, bale nasa manual mode ka sa ganyan. however, inadjust din nya tamang gear depended sa speed mo. for example, from standstill start sya sa 1M (1st gear), kung i floor mo pedal, at around 6k rpm kusa na sya mag upshift to 2M (2nd gear) para hindi mag redline si engine. same way when slowing down, ibaba din nya gear mo based on your speed.

@@theworldisavampire5938 oh i see... actually ginagamit ko din po yung manual mode na yan sa everest namin pero napansin ko nga po parang may difference lang sa pagchange nya ng gear. ah ok po kusa pala sya tumaas sa next gear if mareach amg 6k rpm? kaso di po ba masyadong birit na ang makina nun? di po ba masisira transmission nya?

i have a gen 2 Innova, more dampened ang Noise ni innova, but Yx has better VH. My kids despise the jarring lateral movement ni Innova compared to Yx.

everything is relative po, so saying you need 5k to overtake is somewhat incorrect information :)
