Pilar and Esteban are human garbage
Thank you so much for posting this! I was having a really hard time researching the school board candidates to make an informed decision on my early ballot and this makes is so so much clearer<3
took me a while to sit through the whole recording. Thank you for presenting it. It was interesting and informative overall. I do think it was a mistake to use the "eating the cats" episode to frame the discussion because that story is ongoing and there's likely to be more about it still to come. And is it really going to affect the election? For example the one panel member mentioned the impact of bomb threats to springfield because of the repetition of the claim -that the whole panel views as "false". But the governor of Ohio already stated those threats were all hoaxes and traced to overseas actors. So that just makes the point that incidents of mis-information take time to dissect and understand fully. Based on the title of the talk and the demonstrable impact to elections of misinformation It might have been more useful to have the panelists discuss the Hunter Biden Laptop story. President Biden and the Media claiming that it was "a Russian Fake" . But that "its Fake "narrative has been thoroughly debunked - even by legacy media now. It was his. that DID impact the 2020 election. Still again interesting discussion. I will definitely be looking for more information from the panelist in the future. Sadly thinking about the events of the last decade and how they are shared in the media this topic will continue to be important to our elections.
I watched this and I thought it was supposed to be non-partisan, not at all. Please fact check before you speck on a subject, especially if you are going to educate other people. Things happening in Springfield, Ohio area are because of a surge of over 20,000 illegal immigrants from Haiti. It has overwhelmed the city and its resources. The league of Women voters needs to do better at having both sides not just one-sided panel.
There was a video body cam of an officer questions a lady about skinning and eating a cat. People don't report as they are afraid of being targeting. We do know that eating cats (and dogs) is part of their culture. I thought this was supposed to be unbias. Within the first 10 minutes, there was 2 bias statements. Stated that there are 20,000 open employment opportunities in a community of 60,000? Really? Jobs that no one here want to do? Really?
I like the "Green Party" candidate. Considering the lack of class displayed by the two major parties in their political campaigns, the "Green Party" becomes more attractive. What wil she do - cause inflation, spend money on foreign wars, fragment Americans society ? Misinformation seems to be very popular.
Thank you for coming out with your bravery and elaborations about misinformation around politics.
Vanessa - thank you for your substantive answers and for strongly opposing the government having one single word to say about my reproductive freedom. So easy for a man to be against it. It sickens me.

You never answered my questions I emailed you
We don't need a criminal hold-over from the Dupnik era, we don't need a cowboy, we don't need a former deputy hot head, and we don't need a talking head. Vote for the girl, she's honest and genuine and has the backing of the deputies, that just about says it all.
She sounds weak to me. Talks about having discussions, no actions. We need to stop voting for women just because they are women. We need tough love.
Well you should go tell Aunt Rhodie then after that take a vow of poverty and silence oh and stay away from YT
Rosenthal reminds me of kamala. A lot of words but says nothing. Nanos is a horrible sheriff. Moral is low. I'm going to keep my opinion about him to myself. The other 3 all had good points it's going to be difficult.

'promosm' 😒
It's not "climate change patterns" which is a nothing statement. It is tree cutting, mining, adding chemicals, concrete and buildings while eradicating the natural landscape. Yes it's name made, but patterns.. sure peoples laziness and cheapness buying from companies that don't care but for a buck..
I’m confused. Why is a man the president of the League of WOMEN Voters? Seems like a misnomer.
Weird
You are a beautiful Lady
Some people will say anything to justify their advocating murder of an innocent pre born baby.
This was very helpful. Mr. Val Romero is the only education focused candidate. Everyone else was limp noodle to commie, tbh.
Don't Murder Your Children
Babies feel the agonizing pain from the abortion. Cruel and inhumane. It’s not about “choice”. What it is - it’s murder. Of a preborn baby. Still a baby. So many people would treasure to adopt the baby. DO NOT MURDER YOUR BABY.
@@lambchoppers9420 amen to that!
Below are MY opinions on these: 128 - No - The legislature wants to be able to update our passed amendments however they see fit. 129 - No - One subject at a time for propositions makes it harder to get an amendment on the ballot and easier to disqualify them by claiming they should have been separate subjects. 130 - Yes - Allows disabled vets to get a property tax exemption (cut) regardless if they were AZ resident when they joined the military but does not allow them to get two tax cuts at the same time. I think good thing 131 - Yes - Lieutenant Governor joint ticket, in case something happens to the Governor then the Lt. Gov would take over instead of the Secretary of State. I think is a good thing to keep it as the same party. 132 - No - 60% not 50% to pass any amendment that introduces a tax or fee. Almost nothing passes with 60% and removes the power of the people. 209 - Yes - Interest rate for medical debt from 10% to 3% and higher amount protection for assets. People should not lose their homes/cars over medical debt. 211 - Yes - Stop dark money in local/state politics. Groups that are spending more than 50k state-wide or 25k local would need to disclose any person who gave more than 5k. Sounds like a good thing to know how is trying to influence us. 308 - Yes - In-state tuition for dreamers repeal prop 300 from 2006. These kids did not choose to come here but have done everything correctly in school. They should be given an opportunity. 309 - No - Voter ID for mail-in ballots and in-person voting. This is a way to throw out more votes for simple mistakes. 310 - Yes - Rural Fire Districts sales tax $0.10 for every $100. The outskirts of the city has really outdated equipment.
Hard to watch now :(
Really like Soland, dislike Romero, the other four are good but not sure which to pick.
The two wearing masks get my vote.
Yeah, solid choices for fearful leadership of our schools.
@@erbernaljr Solid choices for *reality-based* leadership of our schools.
Thanks for letting me know exactly who not to vote for. I'm sure you want boys and the girls bathrooms too.
Holy shit, she was killed today and she said her biggest weakness during an eviction would be the compassion she would be feeling for them. Her compassion killed her: Start @28:00
RIP to Deborah Martinez-Garibay, 43.....so sad to see her talk about her story !
Great to see Gloria again.Met in the 1990s and purchased your book at a Buffalo Soldier reunion in Tucson. Always great history from you.

Couple of corrections... I believe I was saying "bipartisan" when I should have been saying NONPARTISAN. Also, I referred to the League's activities in the Citizens Clean Election Commission, but mistakenly called it "clear" election. Hope you enjoyed the panel!
Important topic!
I have been thinking about looking into this more lately. I really appreciate this and hope there’s more to come!
Excellent program about Tucson's rich African-American history!
thank you so much for making this video! You all did a wonderful job. I just moved to Tucson and was unsure about the props, but now I will be confident in all my votes tomorrow at the poll! ☺️🌷
