Bought a buffet ticket to Thanksgiving dinner at Plymouth Rock
This year I will be eating thanksgiving at Plymouth Rock where the first pilgrims are for thanksgiving. I am descendent of many pilgrims, I don’t think any were at Plymouth Rock but it’s possible a few were not certain. My direct grandfather on my fathers side was someone who came on his own ship to Massachusetts in 1629 or around there but his relatives had stake in new Netherlands trading company and were explorers working closely with Henry Hudson , they were here before the pilgrims I think .

Sears , its role in Americas development, Catholic culture, America blessed those who curse it

Sears was more than media or historian will tell you. Sears was a middle class culture engine , it set standards that marked out the success of a nation . However I he Catholics had their own culture , they seemed to have set up camp everywhere Anglo Americans were working on the success of America. Sears is gone , yet there is a Sears in Mexico as we fend off their illegal migrants coming over...
Sears is definitely the engine of The original American middle class.

Can we make another company like Sears that is exclusive to non American Christian
Переглядів 3День тому
Seems like Sears really had a lot to do with Americas middle class success story. I am thinking we could possibly establish a new store that is exclusively for American Law abiding Christians , doing something similar to Sears like an engine to economic sustainability and success in the middle class.
I think it’s possible Sears had a lot to do with America using mortgages for homes.

When sears made kit homes in the early 1900s they had thousands of designs , homes cost half of what it would cost to build one a conventional way . They offered a mortgage for their homes that was a new concept to many Americans , I am not sure if they offered a lay away or not. So buying a home was easier for Americans because of sears. Wanted to talk a little about the history of mortgages , didn’t go into details or specifics but kind of a brief overview of timeline , really in America it dates back to 1770s but wide use wasn’t until after Sears was using them for their kit homes , somehow it wasn’t until after Sears kit homes with mortgages ceased selling that mortgages became big may be some relation.

    1) Clinton, Bush and Obama weren't presidents in September of the years they left office, only in January 2) you calculated Bidens term beginning in Jan 2020, not 2021 3) you should evaluate inflation based on the FED chairman, not the president. Also, Presidents pick the chairman, so you can evaluate it that way. Interesting analysis though

"According to the registration data from S&P Global Mobility (via Automotive News), battery-electric cars made up 7.7% of total new, light-duty vehicle registrations in 2023. That's up from 5.7% the year prior. It is expected to exceed 10% in 2024. And, growth will continue, but, at an exponential rate in a few years. Good to know, I won’t be buying one soon but was shopping for an electric scooter , I will be sticking to gas cars until can’t do that, it’s hard enough to find mechanics for those now of days , at least real ones . I was reading we needed 250,000 new mechanics a year , currently only around 50,000 training . That could change but interest in auto repair has plummeted. One article said we are short over 600,000 mechanics. Just dealerships alone had need of 76,000 and could only find 39,000.

i see lots of gas stations empty at night too. so what's the point? this guy sounds like a self-professed expert on electric cars. he doesn't quote sales figures from dealerships around the area. plus supercharging is usually for tourists as most everyone else would charge at home or work it's way cheaper. you need to have a network like this if you intend to sell millions of cars. the worst thing would be for charging lineups it would make the industry look like they did the wrong thing first which was to sell the cars and NOT have a dedicated charging network when it was needed.

I am not an electric car fan , drove a hybrid Ford before but I wasn’t all that impressed , good gas mileage but just seems like more to worry about when it comes to repairs . All cars break that leaves me to not becoming much of a car enthusiast, maintenance costs are high enough, the time to repair them is just as much of a hassle. Always dangerous on the road . It’s just one of those necessary evils to me.

Under the USA current government, you or i have virtually no say in what any of our politicians do. The government isn't for the people it for the bourgeoisie a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie if you will. Socialist want to overthrow that system, and the only way that has worked at all is with a revolution. Socalism is a transition period between capitalism and communism. Socialists want you to have the basic human needs to meet, such as housing, food, water, electricity, medical care, etc. They also want to have all the fruits of your labor instead of it going to a capitalist. Regulated or non existing markets. Copative ownership over private property managed and governed by the local community ( the commune) in conciles (soviets), hence the name concile republics.

You are rightful about you concerns. However, they are for the wrong reasons. Firstly, you are right about feeling like the US is a one party state, but not for the reasons you exposed : The USA is the most right wing nation in the world. The democrats have moved to the traditional right over the years, squeezing the Republicans into the deep right, with more nationalistic and exeptionalistic tendencies. Both parties are very similar, to the point of being 2 sides of the same coin sometimes. Given how these parties recieve funding and their relations with economic actors, as well as how unaccountable everyone in the institutions is to the people, some have argued the USA is a sham democracy. Didn't George Washington say that monopolies were bad, but duopolies were worse ? Burn down both parties and let true multipartism take their place. Secondly, As for the " socialist republic " citation though, the US couldn't be further from it. While you look for the definitions of it, and you have found similarities (which there are), they don't match with the reality of it. The federal government is quite absent from the economy, it enforces property rights and the competitive market, and there is little to no welfare. Also, that elected officials simply being openly gay and stuff doesn't make them socialist. You're probably criticising the woke movement, which is fair. But for the record, it is a cultural movement of over - progressists more than anything else. It has little to nothing to do with socialism. Here is a definition of socialism : a political and socioeconomic system in which the means of production, services and exchange are collectively owned and operated, for the common good of all. That definition stipulates things like workers owning most if not all of the businesses they work for and workplace democracy ---> not gonna happen in the US anytime soon. Unlike what you told, there is some degree democracy in socialist countries( although not like in our liberal ones), even in north korea and Cuba (there are videos explained how they work here on UA-cam). It's operated within " the party ", and people can ask for things to be improved or fixed (a road, a hospital ect). The system present as of right now in any socialist country is called state capitalism. The state essentially is the new business owner and plans the economy. The idea of a party taking control is indeed a marxist leninist way of doing (" dictatorship of the proletariat"). Not every socialist and communist agrees with that. Market socialists (standard or Libertarian), democratic socialists and Libertarian socialists don't believe in this way to achieve communism, as it can easily become a dictatorship proper, but also create a political elite enriching themselves off of the system, among other things. Regarding the immigration though, i'm afraid it is self inflicted. For decades, US businesses have tricked the government and CIA into overthrowing central and south American leaders that wanted to develop their country, because it was interfering with profits of the united fruit company and others. The US - backed dictators have maintained poverty in the region while allowing US businessesto do whateverthey want, which people want to escape from. And guess what's up there further north ? The USA. Even better, the immigration brings in people that will accept working with little to no benefits, justifying said benefits to be reduced for everyone. For the civil unrest, it can be partly originated in the socioeconomic policy introduced in the US 40+ years ago : neoliberalism. Everyone is against everyone, you walk over people or they walk over you (we are social creatures first and foremost... so are these policies anti - life ?). Not to mention it is undemocratic and you are considered as enterprises (not people). I recommend Watching the video " neoliberalism explained " by bad empanada for firther insight. A neoliberal society cannot exist as a result. As evidence, every country where it was implemented are falling apart.

Thanks for your opinion, I still believe that it has become a form of socialist republic, do to the independence of states , a state like Oregon or Washington can be very socialist from democrat reps and governors changing laws and policies to be extreme liberal and make a police state. Even if there is a republican majority in the rest of the country. It is not the same as a real socialist republic is that has changed its constitution to socialism but it is a form of socialist republic, or the start of socialism.

It’s a art and when followed properly you have works of art such as Anderson Silvas knockout and fluid moment. Jon Jones crazy ability to take away what your good at he isn’t the best at everything.
