Hi Joanne! This video does not have any captions included on it - it sounds like perhaps you have turned on auto captioning through UA-cam - So sorry about that! - check your settings... hopefully you will be able to resolve it easily. Of course, we are always happy to help you however we can - send an email to hello@makersmercantile.com if we can do anything else for you.

@@MakersMercantile What I need are English captions. This option does not exist on the current settings, as their is no listing for "Languages". Not having this option eliminates 10% of the human population in most countries. Yes, really! 10% of us have a significant hearing loss that can be helped with visual input. I wish you would always include captions with your videos--and have language choices as a listed option. I would like to be able to understand your comments Thanks!.

Hi Joanne! We certainly know that some of our customers either have hearing loss or vision problems, and certainly many folks are unable to visit our shop. That's why we create the videos, and we hope you'll be able to adjust the settings on your UA-cam account so you can read the closed captioning for the video. Alternatively, you can certainly read the newsletter that accompanies the video and get much of the same information. @@MakersMercantile Just BTW....NONE of your suggestions worked. The captions are STUCK in Vietnamese with NO OPTIONS for change. I set American English as my caption choice on my You Tube/Google account. It did not carry over to videos other than the one giving directions on changing languages. This is really frustrating.

@@MakersMercantile That cowl was made for me for my 50th birthday (too many years ago) by a group of employees! Every time I wore it everyone wanted the pattern, so it became a pattern! Over the years we have used many yarns to recreate it! Here is a link to the pattern - it is a free download on our website. FYI - mine was made with Cashmere Queen by Schoppel - a lovely Cashmere, Merino and Silk blend. It doesn't look like much on the ball, but once knitted it is amazing!
