I just placed an order for an AMG similar to the one you purchased. Are there any options you did not get that you maybe you now would get? Superscreen doesn’t seem to be very popular.

I had been following its development since March 2024, so when factory orders were opened I had researched all of the options and read all of the reviews prior to building my order. I knew immediately the Super Screen would not be used so I have no regrets about not getting it. I like the wood much better with the illuminated AMG logo at night. The upgraded sport seats look nice but they are not as comfortable as the original seats to me on long drives as most reviewers also state so I did not opt for them. It’s equipped exactly right for me.

Thanks for tuning in! To be 100% honest, I’ve never tried to fold the back seat down, so I’m not sure. Yes, the front seats slide forward electronically to allow entry into the back of the vehicle.

@CarswithIzzy My dear, it's no longer a secret here in Germany that Benz has serious quality problems, that's why Benz is doing very, very poorly, I don't know if you receive such news, but things have been going downhill for a few years, you have to understand that Just researched in depth, I tried out this new E class, yes it has a lot of new technological things but I felt like I was in a C class, even the seat just wasn't comfortable for me (I'm 191cm tall) no matter where I press the ODWR button, it wobbles a lot and makes noises, for years the VW group and Mercedes have been pursuing a disabled savings policy, which in the end ruined their own business, I use a BMW X5 M50D. I'm very happy with it Very satisfied and have been driving it for 8 years and tried in vain to find something better but unfortunately I didn't even like the GLE 450D Amg, which is right It was disgusting, the seats themselves are mounted in the same way in the GLE, even though it has around 360 hp, you just don't notice it, I don't even need to talk about the chassis, how can it be that such a powerful model doesn't have an exhaust at all, and it doesn't News that Mercedes hasn't built any exhausts other than real AMG models for years, you can find a lot of videos criticizing Mercedes on UA-cam, as well as the VW group in particular, so my dear, you can't do it like that Simply described, you have to find out for yourself if you want.

Your original statement was, Mercedes no longer has it (quality). Compared to its rivals, the interior cabins on Mercedes are superior to that of BMW or Audi. The quality and different use of materials in the cabin is a step above. The E Class just won Motortrend Car of the Year! Take a look at the article. Sometimes change doesn’t always equate to reduction in quality. I encourage you to drive a new AMG 53, simply amazing how all the components of the vehicle come together! Smooth, luxurious and fast!!!!!

@@CarswithIzzy As a W211 E550 owner I can say there are areas they got better and areas they got worse. The W214 lower door trim is Rubbermaid grade plastic, those used to be fabric wrapped and felt on the inside. The W214 rear subframe is steel like a C-class, used to be aluminum. Lot of gloss black plastic on the door trim now also, none of that stuff would have happened in the old days. Some things are better with the new car but I don’t think Mercedes is at their peak.

The vehicle just came off the delivery truck and didn’t get processed through our service department yet at the time of recording this video. The tire cap is not missing it just wasn’t installed yet.

Yes sir. It’s all about perspective. There is a premium for the Mercedes badge and to be the one of the first manufacturers to bring innovative technology to the marketplace. Keep in mind, the starting price of the e class is in the low $60,000 range. This is a spec closer to the fully loaded version of the E class.

Good question, I don’t believe any of the US Mercedes models have integrated toll modules. You would still need to use an EZ pass.

I believe Mercedes has one in the works possibly bringing back the V8. Nothing is 100% confirmed yet though
