Another Jamuary tradition is the drum drone track, a technique I discovered from watching one of @Hainbach's videos on the subject, and it's gotten me to learn to poke at the outside framework of hardware at times (things like sync rate and such) to get neat sound design. this is so good! great sequence, it has a really fun, chill vibe ❤ snow day indeed!
I love making similar sequences and playing them like this with my S-1 the "tweak synth" part is very accurate, its great fun to sit and jam with.

@@HazeAnderson yeah, the disconnect between what you as the artist likes and hates and what the audience likes and hates is real odd sometimes. I think back in 2022 the track I hated the most out of Jamuary was the one with the most views and engagement that year. Made no sense to me. But, c’est la vie.

@@0x0f76 it is digital, but it is a virtual-analog rendition of Roland’s classic SH-101 synth (and updated to be made 4-voice polyphonic and to have reverb and delay built in). I like it quite a lot!
