I am always amazed at the amount of good videos that others seem to achieve on a regular basis. So must go out more !!!!!! I guess. its all in fun.

In the welsh town of Caerphilly Prangsters climbed the Tommy Cooper Staue, recently unveiled by the great "Sir Anthony Hopkins" And someone jammed a traffic cone on it's head. It is unlikely that the action caused any serious damage to the bronze statue.

I watched this on tv as a kid
nice jump rex hox do they get or have medical coverage
What was he riding!!? Is that an old RM ? My god his wife was nearly hysterical !! Poor gal , I could not do anything like that again after seeing his dear wife react the way she did. You'd have to be heartless to put her through that again !!!😢
He hit that, just right! Great jump!
I didn’t know that Rick Rude jumped buses.
I did this on my Trike Bike in 1973.
nobody was as great as evil kenevel
26 year olds used to be 45 year olds.
Never mind the bike, what a lovely wife
E K and these guys should have went to motoX first..... Why the f did E K use a tank when he did this shite, they really had no skill. There was much better bikes to use
Is he related to Bubba Blackwell
rex enbredwell
He's 26......56 maybe?
Elvis broke every bone in Evel Knievel’s body
I was waiting on a shark 🦈
SNOOZE
What’s more impressive is he did the jump while completely stoned!!! 😆😆😆
who would have tried otherwise! not me
its a performance enhancer lol
He started professionally at the age of 38. WTF he looks 50
I'll always say it, older footage makes Rex look 45. He was 26 LOL
and whats there now! i am so happy to see this video thank you for saving history!!!
The cameraman did a pitiful job on this one
I could have made that jump with my Spider-Man big wheel when I was 3 years old in 1976
Ya but you didn’t did ya
Being f.o.s. is not really something one should advertise, but hey, you do you...
😂
😂
This is my grandpa
Your Grand Pa was a great jumper back in the day !!! All my hero's jump motorcycle's and your Grand Pa is my hero too !!! ✌🏻😎✌🏻 Good Luck and God Bless young man !!!
Rylan, are you in Cedar Rapids?
Balls of Steele.
Jumps like these seem so quaint today with guys like Robbie Madison jumping 378'. I wonder what kind of suspension travel RB had in those days? Couldn't have been much.
4 to 6 inches of travel.
Is this Bubba's dad?
I did that when I was 10 on my bicycle. Who didn’t??
Me too, plus a matchbox pick-up truck as well, I was badass
Great stuff!
Is this some new Jack Black project? NNNAAACCCHHHHOOOO!!!!
I have a Yamaha exactly the same has that one. Respect. That bike has so little suspension travel
A slow old TT 500
@@donbrashsux wow I must have had the sound turned down. I presumed it was a early YZ400. I have a xt500 and have had TT’s in the passed. They are incredibly heavy. He gets even more respect. I bumped into Jason Rennie a few weeks after he’d jumped 248 ft.world record at the time, in a football stadium. If I remember right from where he started his run he couldn’t see the the take off ramp when he hit the take off ramp he couldn’t see the landing ramp and there wasn’t much run off after the landing theses guys are nut. But he’s a Nice guy He sold me a set of tyres. Told me they where hardly used. I once rode 300 miles to watch Eddie Kidd do his world record I’ve own a few of eddies bikes. Another top guy.
@@davemonday5381 the YZ 400 would be the go was it a CDE or F model
@@donbrashsux the last motocross Yamaha I had was a mx400B 1975 is was a show bike and to nice to use. I have the DT400B and DT250mx both in new condition and the XT500 it’s very tricked up I bought it in Japan. I’ve been looking out for a good 78/ 79 YZ probably a 250. Ho I’ve just remembered there a sr400 brat conversion also from Japan that’s a fantastic little bike. I don’t know how the Japanese tuners get so much usable power out of them it pulls like a train. And looks a 1950s British scrambler. I had a quick look inside it. Trick cam high compression a fancy Japanese electronics open after market filter. I bought for my wife I didn’t realise what a little monster it was at the time. I tried some big jumps for a while. I had a close call when the ramp gave way in the middle when I hit it. It sprang and sent me upwards and slightly to the left I didn’t think I was going to make to the sand landing ramp. I was going higher rather than forwards. I slid down the left side of the sand and walked away. It was a eye opener and I decided I couldn’t afford to have time off work with broken legs. I really do have total respect for these guys.
Looks like Rick Rude
What kind of bike was that
It's a two-wheeled bike that is powered by a motor.
@@timbaldwin6283 no shit ass wipe
Yamaha TT500
76 77 78
Heavy slow TT500
I've never seen a 46 year old 26yo before, but I have now
Exactly what I wanted to say: He ain't 26, he's a hard 40.
I’m watching dudes jump shit like this at the dunes every day
But not on a 76 TT500
@@brandonthompson8411 exactly that’s why these younger guys don’t understand.. how Harvey was that bike and with little no suspension
@@brandonthompson8411 nor a 6ft wide takeoff and landing ramp!!!
Just shy of 300lb and probably no more than 5 " if suspension
Yamaha xt 500?
TT 500 basically an xt with no lights weighs in at about 300lb 😮
Crazy we hit 100ft gaps on a casual weekend how things change
I was thinking that myself.125ft in the Sand dunes on a YZ490 in 1987.
mnicrashSoren and the bikes changed very quickly, suspension wise
I LOVED TO WATCH RYAN CAPES JUMP !!! RIP The last time I Seen Him He hit 490 !!! Anyone that Goes BIG IS TOTALLY BADASS I’m Taking from BMX UP !!!! 💪💪
I’m impressed
If a person can go 105 feet on a stock 1979 TT 500 then today’s bikes should go 700 feet plus
That bike was a good choice in 79.
Yz 400 F Yamaha would have been a lot better
Heavy old four stroke properly 50lb heavier than a 2stroke Mx, I used too have an xt500(basically a road legal TT) took it off 3 foot ramps alright but my rm370 was my long jump bike , xt great for wheelies
😅....2020 ..distance record well over 300ft
360 or something like that as big as a foot ball field, I should be riding with Alex harvill tomorrow he’s got a video of him jumping about 350 feet
Like to see the do it on an old bike.
Good woman. I hope they stayed together.
Music is corny as hell. LOL
yea didn't suit the occasion, unless he was jumping over a shark tank.
Has ANY jump ever NOT been called a world record??????? I get marketing, but really?
Fuck the rest. Best ever jumper was Eddie Kidd until his accident. He would take them all. Evel bottled it and Eddie beat Robbie, video fact on UA-cam. Nobody else wanted to try Eddie Kidd out. Fkn legend. Never forgotten Eddie we love you mate 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧✌️✌✌✌✌✌
That's my husbands boss!!
Does he still race,,,,? he was so good/
great video see you got my guy David Brasier there :) Michelle :)
Nice work mate...I like the ala LeMans film style.
Before I started, this is the only motorcycle jumper I'd ever seen Live. No relation tho. Bubba
Lucky guy, really great occasion wasn't it ? I wonder is he still doing his thing ? Happy day's.

Song is by?
Hi Dan Home brew jam session version from a original by "Chris Spedding " motorbiking ..
Thanks , as you say, 2 great days... we need more?
Thanks for comment, true, it is such a nice venue, you feel part of the occasion, unlike the bigger modernised circuits. To do the filming justice I think you would need quite a few enthusiasts with cameras same format, and plenty of free time to edit .but I am sure it would be a enjoyable project.
Why do they do these things I wonder ? so sad.
