    22 Malaysian dollars is peanuts for the biryani. In the US you won't get an excellent meal like these for that price. $ 15 US can barley get you a burger meal. You're lucky to enjoy a feast for peanuts.

    Not being like such negative person, but that's not looks like 32rm worth of food . Eggs + vege + protein + carbs : normally range about 6-20rm (seafood price depends eg 🦀🦐) on cafeteria like, this for a person meal, not mentioning mamak restaurant because their price is including Bombay flight ticket when u pick shrimp and crab

    For local RM32 for 2 person nasi campur is on the high side. How it works, each item u add have a base price, even if u add a little of it, u will still be charge with the base price. Usually we locals, choose 1 protein, 1 veg. An the food is not indian but Malay. There are similarity with indian cooking.

    probably cheaper to pay for play in the Us..those chinese and koreans pay 5000-10000 baht for a shorttime ..thats 137-272 usd and most western men can't match their money in thailand today

    • @ThatBigBeardedAmericanTourist
      @ThatBigBeardedAmericanTourist 3 місяці тому

      That is interesting. I did not really notice that. Maybe because it was off season? But rates tended to range from $3,000 - $5,000 for short time which is a lot cheaper than in America. (I mean if you don't add the cost of the plane ticket or accommodations also...) I was told ahead of time that they may vary the rates based on how slow it is and also how old you are / what you look like though. Besides still stupidly being illegal in the US and they will arrest you for it (unlike Thailand), I believe it can cost hundreds of dollars an hour here.

      @@gmm5550 Very interesting... I do know it's not legal, I mention it at some point in my video. But the Government and police turn a blind eye or at least they seem to and I'm guessing that is because of the tourism money it brings in. In America it is illegal and they will go out of their way to arrest you for it. Put your photo all over the place and embarrass you. I also am not current on the prices in the US as I don't do that here. I did not realize the number is 3% it seems so much higher. What other occupations do the girls / ladies from the countryside get into when they arrive in the city? I would guess working in the stores as cashiers, etc? Thanks for the interesting information.
