I am really surprised that they need vehicles of this size but also that have any employee with brains to drive one, obviously not. We run these vehicles in Europe with 6 metre tri axle trailers and they are not 'vans'.
Iveco are a shite vehicle full stop, i had the displeasure to suffer one when my movano was being repaired, uncomfortable, gutless and i had issues parking the fucker due to its length, i do hope the shit box ends up in the scrap yard
My mate’s BT van had a poor handbrake, it crushed him in to the customers house, smashed his leg to splinters, helicopter airlifted him. Management wanted to discipline him for not putting the brake on. Tests showed it was faulty. They get one service a year, and no other attention. Getting a reserve vehicle is hassle because they’re rented and have to be prebooked and the managers don’t want to give time to swap kit to a rental but also can’t have a man sitting about waiting for mot and service. So basically lots of the vans are borderline roadworthy. I had to hit the brakes on my Transit 2001 when a kid ran across the road. I missed him but the brakes hadn’t really grabbed properly, it just slowed down . I took it to the MT garage, he drove it round the yard and said it’s fine. So I wouldn’t be surprised if this van in the video has a crap handbrake and is overloaded,
