I used to go to this school I’m Jordan m and my brothers are jayden and Jacob m I have been at this school for 5 years but switched to ladera elementary in 3rd grade and then in 4th grade I switched to silos elementary I’m at Medina valley miss my old school❤
This brought tears to my eyes. Life goes on, but heaven, the Kingdom of God unfolds around us when we step into God's plan for forgiveness and flourishing. Letting go of the things that hold us captive so we may grab onto the tether of Jesus more closely through the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jillian, for the reminder. amen
Yes of course, a denomination who is not King James Only, not set on a certain eschatology, has room for women deacons in its statement of faith, and accepts a wide range of worship styles besides hymns is fundamentalist. Lovingly u need to work on your definitions and present the other side truthfully. Southern Baptists are not fundamentalist, they are conservative. In fact most southern baptists are pretty moderate, but when compared to a more left leaning group like the CBF who accepts gay pastors and women pastors than ya i guess they look fundamentalist. To say u hold traditional baptist values is a misrepresentation my friend. You’re leaving out regenerate church membership btw which is the Baptist distinctive. Local church autonomy as a distinctive is claimed by many others besides Baptists such as Church of Christ.
Very touching service. Curtis was a light in a dark world. His laugh and kindness will not be forgotten. We were all better for knowing him. Love to his family as they continue to grieve.
What a beautiful service and tribute to our friend Curtis. I remember a mission trip to Laredo with him and his special treat serving as Santa to the kids. When we once again worship in the sanctuary, it won’t be the same without Curtis’ smiling face in the choir. Thank you to his siblings for sharing an intimate portrait of him. We were all blessed to call him family.
