Yea , I would use SoS only for AR, not just cause of souls, but because you can amp its damage as well. Fel Scarred can't do it to the same effect.

I think it was viable as well, but this is an important fix to me.

I think immo and dot stuff is amazing with felscarred. Not only is your burst insane but your passive damage is massively increased with burning woumd and immo

FS will always have bigger burst, specially on the dummy. It is a sequencing thing. But after Meta, AR is just a lot more consistent with its kill damage, not entirely tied down to Sigil+Eye. This is something that might be better now with Monster Rising fix, but I really need to do some additional testing to see if the story has changed.

could you please share what you are using? somehow feel better when playing FS

@@OGMikadika depending on uptime I feel like u don’t have much downtime with the Sigil of flame + eye beam combo, and I think with the monster rising change it’ll be even less downtime, imo solo shuffle at least is all about burst, so I prefer FS

Pray they dont touch the class, look at what they just did to shamans lol. Mini ascendance rework into insta nerf and leaving the classes builds worse off then before the rework lol

I mean lets be honest here, Ele was straight up broke. Still is strong after hot fix. We shall see after reset.

this is relative. If you look at the x3 arena, solo shufle and 2x2 rankings, both FS and AR are in the top rankings. Aand if you noticed, the best ranked DH is FS in 3 v3 and 2v2.

@@robertdassaev5647 I just checked top 3 DHs in all arenas on check-pvp and as it turned out: EU: all the same thing in solo shuffle, 2v2s and 3v3s, 2 out of top 3 are AR and only one rank 1 in those formats was fel scarred US: it's even more AR favored because top 3 in both solo shuffle and 3v3s all play AR and top 3 in 2v2s you got 1 felscarred and 2 AR

I played both and saw that my damage on AR was higher overall and it was more consistent, in BGs however FS damage was higher but the survivability wasn't there that's why I always go AR now. I think people just prefer FS because it's easier to play especially if you have comms

@@Samy-j9h Bro, in 3v3 is the MV and MV is playing FS now. And after him, we have Nate, far below MV, and he has always played AR. In solo shuffle, the first 3 or 4 are AR, then we have some FR. The highest ranked Dh in 2v2 is Ziz, and he plays FS too. This is in the US.

@@Samy-j9h I play both too. I prefer FS because it seems less dependent on making a combo for the beam to work, but FS is somewhat dependent on metaform + sigil. With AR you are often forced to use the beam without being fully buffed by the glaive. And it often takes a little longer to get your AR burst ready. Both builds have their advantages. I also think AR is more survival, but I have no problems with FS's survival in 3x3. I still haven't noticed if my damage is actually greater than FS in general, but I definitely feel more consistency and more control in gameplay with AR

Hmm that actually might make FS worth playing for Arenas. Really AR only a clear winner in Arenas cause of increased survivability! Depths is the best I think, specially for AR.

You can still press them if you want, but no point to click S&D anymore. I think best feeling is the new "Echoing Reprimand" being on mini burst CDs. Feels better for sure.

I use a different enchant but everything seems good! Depths is very consistent on DH and procs the elemental focusing lens, which you should get on your crafted pieces. That is pretty much what you are missing, you should have 9 free for crafting so you can get that right away.

Till they fix FS, just feels much better!

Ok we got the raid, and the tmogs and I say those are cool, but the rest is really a joke. World Bosses? Really man... that is a + for you? I don't think there are new TW dungeons, those are just the classical/cata rework dungeons. Also we are PvP focused here so to most Raid is not relevant. So basically we end at just having the mogs, which are being throttled of course. And yea PvP quest giving 1 token LOL. Also you seam to be ignoring the very big elephant in the room, of the mega broken patch which is the main point overall. What I would have done? First off the event is self I would try to do more minigames for sure, make it similar to Darkmoon. There is not really many interesting things to do. Are you really having fun doing Story Time 15 times? PvP we got nothing basically, Korak Revange thing already existed. I would have put some work there for sure as well. "The melee comment" Yes melee is -20% fun compared to DF. Many range were blessed with increased survivability/mobility/CC. A lot of this is even passive stuff, that as a melee you just got to deal with. Now add onto that the current patch they broke hunters, already broken spec, broke kicks while casters have precog as a socket.

Wouldn't put it so harshly but I agree with the sentiment. Definitely feels like they just farming us for subs with this.

Not all people like PvE content, I've been playing WoW for 20 years, the dungeons are fun at first, I played that one time with a hunter and I remember using the ice trap to grab an NPC at once, the rogues whitewashed the sap. or even the mages with the polymorph, since WotLK the dungeons were a joke all spamming AoE, this is the first expansion where I don't do any of the dungeons or raids, they are boring like the digs. PvP is more challenging and more fun, they don't know how to balance their own classes, and I think they don't care about the PvP part of the game, but believe it or not, people play this game for its PvP content,not for PvE like I say PvE is boring. I don't do Mythic because I don't like PvE anymore, so we don't cry about the game, we cry about how bad the class balance is in PvP because it is not normal for, for example, the DH to erase your health. bar with a NOW ability, or the infinite cc of the ice mage, the incredible tons of damage you have to deal to kill a SINGLE healer, or the so-called META (I hate that word) occupied by 4 or 5 classes of a game that It has 11 classes, if you get into the casual battlefields all you see are mages, paladins, warriors, priests, hunters and warloks, of the rest few, death knights before this patch were seen more but now they have disappeared, You find some feral druids, few shamans, few rogues, and that is the problem that they cannot make them only serve (evidently each one plays with the class they like) 4 or 5 classes, I can't believe that everyone who has a mage likes ice, I played as a mage a few years ago before Shadowlands and arcane was much more fun than ice, but everyone in PvP is ice why? because it is the branch that works, not because it is fun, and that's where Blizzard should come in and make both the classes and their specializations fun and competitive but thats a dream.

@@DieBluePrius fire at least can blink/poly when interrupted casting fire spells. or can cast fire spells while interrupted on poly. arcane is just a sitting duck 😂. But yeah, blizz makes no sense

@@GardenisLife The other option is that the Rogue class designer does it all alone, but I believe buddy over here since it fits with things I have seen and read. I am starting to realize this is a huge mismanagement issue.

@GardenisLife We do know for a fact already there's no such thing as class balancing teams confirmed by blizzard already. Stated by the prior Dev who shared this info. Was an OG dev too, one of the startups. So we know this pretty accurately for most part. The speculation part was me filling in the gap that they're playing the class atm. Which seems reasonable to me but I could also see them just barely playing their game.

Hope you give it another shot, now that we got some inflation, but yea MMR is still systematically broken.

Gear is a big deal for sure, specially since we are almost fully geared.

Watch pvp guides with high level players. Skill capped is a great place to start.

DH is mega fun for me, my most enjoyed class by far. BG Blitz is DH's best bracket by far. 1.8k is for sure reachable, but expect BGB to take more time than arenas, sure you might get lucky but if you don't just keep queing!

I feel like those classes just need to be looked in general, Hunters getting all the defensives in the world while also having Scatter Shot and Binding Shot freed up from the same node, was absolutely mental. Cheap Shot is just OP, makes trinkets literally useless, etc.
