I live in Newcastle england and my sun gets 11.7 degrees below the horizon. We only reach nautical twilight for 3 weeks.

If any American ever fails to realize just how much further north the UK is, this video will illustrate that brilliantly. DAMN.
Even in London the sun only gets down to 16 degrees and the sky visibly doesn't get fully dark with a faint light to the north although obviously nothing as bright as in your video
In north east England you still see a bright orange and a light blue up to about 30-45 degrees in the sky when looking north

In Lima Peru theres only 1hour 27mins of variaton between the summer and winter solstice . In December we get 12h 50m of daylight , on June 11h 24m. 12.22° S latitude
