I played and finished this on my 3DO back in the day. Loved it. I remember that you could fly out of the command ship then just turn around and attack it. If you blew it up then the game just stopped.

Kind of a shame this was never ported. An even bigger shame the legal PC originals are basically unplayable and emulation of other system ports is the only real way to play these. We live in an age of remasters, wtf hasn't someone looked at the games that have been unplayable since the 486??

This was my favorite flying game of all time, overall pick. X-wing was great mechanics. Elite Dangerous is the most expansive. This was the best, had something no other game captured.

Though Kilrathi ships do use three lasers on some of their ships. So if you want to make it slightly more difficult then - Get a Centurion or Galaxy. - Use Heat Seeking Missiles only. (No FF or expensive missiles) - Only Lasers or Meson Blasters for guns - Max upgrade on engine, shields, navigation. - Repair Droid - No Tractor Beam This should make it more difficult. To make it even more difficult then - Use Tarsus only - Max Upgrades -Heat Seeking Missiles only ( cheap ones) - No Tractor Beam - Repair Droid - Lasers, Mass Drivers or Meson Blasters only.

I keep seeing all of these dosbox users with scanline shaders. What are you guys doing? What CRT monitor had NTSC-TV-like scanlines? They don't belong there and it looks really, really weird.

The graphics on this game are crazy. This is my first time seeing this spiderman game and I thought I knew about all the old school ones makes sense that I missed out on it since it came out in 1996 I had already moved on to the PS1.
