Today we will be flying with the TUI Virtual Airline all the way from Rhodes in Greece, to Cardiff in Wales. This was a lovely flight with clear blue skies all the way up to Cardiff, but then we did encounter 21kt crosswinds on landing which caused quite a crabbed touchdown, but I think we did well to ensure a good landing. More runway than I had taking off out of San Francisco in the 777 got to the solid red light on the runway did not think it was going to work out but the take off calculator never lies. Had about a 700 fpm clime out.
You definitely had a close one there! I sometimes forget how trustworthy these planes really are…
