Every video game has walls in the environment. Is it supposed to be endless? Certain games have stage transitions to different areas, and Bleach Rebirth of Souls has stage transitions. I saw it in the Byakuya vs Ichigo video. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai and Dead or Alive games have stage transitions. They also have barriers in the fighting zone. My source? I work as an animator, I've worked at a game company, and I've been playing games since the original Mario on Nintendo and Sonic on Sega Genesis. Yes, "directional block inputs" is "overdone." Just because it's in the first games in the 1990s doesn't mean it should be repeated in every fighting game. It gets boring. Rinse and repeat. This is what makes Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 and Infinite World the greatest anime fighting game ever created. This is what makes it different. It's not another street fighter or marvel vs capcom. Those seem to be the only types of fighting games people like. You do the same combos and then super jump into the air to continue, land, and do more repetitive jumping. Unfortunately, Dragon Ball FighterZ is another street fighter and marvel vs capcom. It's not unique like Budokai 3. I'm not talking about boring Tenkaichi either. Infinite World has infinite combos that require skill and timing, and the game still has a way to reverse it, so it makes it fair.

7:08 What third person arena style games have sidesteps and moves forward the way she did? Those are fighting game movements. You won't understand what I'm talking about unless you have play games like Dragon Ball Z: Budokai (Not trash Tenkaichi) or Bloody Road: Primal Fury.

I don't think you understand why the red wall is there, it's only there to prevent the players from running away from there opponent and preventing them from running off on their own. It's only proves it's not your standard arena fighter. You are allowed to go past the red wall, it only shows up to keep you from straying too far from the fight. If you get knocked back you will go past the red wall and the fight location will change to somewhere else on the map and the red walls will go with the fighters.

In another video I saw two red walls slightly show up behind both players while they where just standing, proving they are mostly there to keep players within fighting distance.

I never did like arena third person games, but Sparking Zero will be amazing. Bleach and Dragon Ball will be the main two games on my channel soon.

They don't have actual QA play testers who are showcasing the game. The women barely knew what they were doing. They were spamming attacks. I don't think this is a fighting game that consists of low, medium, and high attacks. I think this is more like Budokai and Bloody Roar games in terms of combat. Block button will most likely block all the attacks. There is also a guard limit and guard can be broken when it glows red. I hope there are no low, medium, and high attacks for this game. It's overdone and it would be another Street Fighter or Marvel Vs Capcom. I never liked those style of fighting games. Everyone keeps saying arena fighter, but this is not an arena fighter. Those games are Tenkaichi and Ultimate Ninja Storm Games. The initial trailer made Bleach Rebirth of Souls look like an arena fighter. The actual gameplay with full matches looks completely different.
