This is my story and opinions, and not necessarily that of other crew members on these ships or the company. Neither of the ships I was on had any cases of Covid...

So awesome May God bless Peetu in Auckland
Great job! I live in Kodiak and you represented the town very well. I enjoyed your video and saw a few people I know! Thank you
Hi Karen... what is the name of the shopping centre you walked through straight from the shuttle bus? Did you walk from Hirome market to Kochi Castle? Great video thank you
Hi, you're welcome. I'm glad you like the video. I don't know the name of the shopping center and can't find it online, but I did walk from Hirome Market to Kochi Castle. The shuttle bus stopped right beside the shopping center though, so just walk through the shopping center by the shuttle bus and it will take you to Hirome Market. Have a great trip!
Did you bring your own snorkel gear or can u hire ashore ? Im going next month. .Many Thanks
Hi, I brought my own snorkel gear. I would highly recommend bringing your own on the trip, most of the ports in this area are very small and don't rent equipment. Have a great trip :)
This was one of the best places I have ever visited. Thank you for the video
You're welcome. And thank you for watching. It is one of the best places I've ever visited too, very special place doing a lot of good for the local wildlife and great place to get to see Alaskan wildlife recuperating safely in a space designed for them.
This is a disgusting petting zoo with animals held in tiny pens for years on end. Steve struggles with mental health and antisocial behavior. This is a tourist trap meant to fleece money from cruise ship rubes by exploiting animals. Shame on you for promoting this nonsense.
Cruise Ship Karen. What a great name. I love 💕 it. Good luck with your channel.
Thank you for your kind words. My name is Karen and I'm very often on a cruise ship, so it made sense, and I like alliteration. All the best for your travels :)
Many thanks. Very helpful for my cruise planning!
You're welcome (sorry for the late reply) I hope you enjoy Japan! It is am amazing country :)
Really helpful when planning my port of call in Kochi. Thank you.
You're welcome. I'm glad it was helpful for you. Enjoy Japan, it is an incredible country :)
How far from the ship are the markets
There are markets you can walk to in around 10-15 minutes. Enjoy your trip and apologies for the late reply :)
That was wonderful, good job on getting us information on Alaska. We are going this summer and Juneau is one of our stops; we are looking forward to it.
Hope you have (or had) an amazing time in Alaska! Apologies for the late reply. Alaska is incredible, hope you enjoy it to the full :)
Loving this , it was really nice spending the day with you guys, all the cooking and interacting was amazing ❤ Elma 🇻🇨
Thank you, I appreciate that. My apologies for the late reply. Hope you're well :)
Hi Karen
Hi Christian
Hi Karen, do you still remember the address of the Otaru cruise port terminal. I cannot find it on Google map. Thanks
Hi, my apologies for the late reply. I found the address on Google in a few seconds, it is this: Port Information ; Wharf No.3 #13,14 · Katsunai Wharf #2,3 Port Office Industry-Port and Harbor Department Otaru City · 0134-23-1107 · kowan@city.otaru.lg.jp Enjoy Japan :)
Ai tai...takamatsu...😊☺
Como faço para ir morrar ai??? Sou do Brasil e quero ir para ai
Thank you so much for the video we will be cruising there in March 2024 ...you helped a lot
You're welcome. I'm glad it was useful for you. It's a fantastic port, and Japan is amazing all round. I'm sure you'll have an amazing time. Happy cruising!

May I ask what month it was while visiting Homer? We are looking at early May 2024, and we are curious if the weather will be similar to your video. Thank you for the videos of Alaska!
Hi, apologies for the very late reply. I was there in May too. I hope you have/had a wonderful trip to Alaska, it is a wonderful place, and Homer is great.
Taking a cruise there in October - thanks for your tour suggestions! I was thinking there's not a whole lot to do in Sydney, but the coal mine tour looks interesting!
Hi Maggie, my apologies for the very late reply. You're welcome for the video, I'm glad it helped. I hope you enjoyed it and the coal mine tour, I really enjoyed it.
GREAT VIDEO.
Hopefully heading to Dravuni island later this year, what part of the island did you do your snorkeling?
Can you confirm there is a shuttle bus from the cruise terminal to the city loop bus? Does it need to be booked or free?
Hi, apologies for the very late reply, it depends on the cruise line on details on the shuttle bus, if it is free or paid, and booked or not. So just check with your cruise line on what they're organising. Hope you enjoyed/enjoy your trip to Japan.
Love the clean color of the ocean 😍❤️❤️
How do we book this tour and what is the price? Thank you.
Hi Al, I don’t book any tours sorry. I am a travel speaker and writer. Sorry but I can’t remember the name of the company I went with for this tour as a friend booked it. It was a local tour in the port though. Hope you have a good time
are there any thrift shops in ports? I heard u mention Wal-Mart in Ketchikan? was dat right?
Just returned from our first visit to Dunfermline and Karen your video was brilliant, gave us really good info about places to visit, you are a great ambassador for your city ❤ and Khushis was amazing 😋
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. My apologies for such a late reply. I'm glad you enjoyed Dunfermline. All the best :)
That’s one extreme Ice Bucket Challenge where you have to kiss a fish head. Ha ha
Wow, that was a really nice video. We're taking a cruise to that part of the world in 2023 and we found your video quite helpful. Thanks so much -- great job.
Thank you for watching and for your kind comments. I'm glad you found my video helpful. I have videos for quite a few ports on the Canada and New England itinerary, so take a look if you'd like as the other videos can be useful for your other port stops too. Have a wonderful trip! It is a beautiful part of the world :)
Because of you I am in dire need to visit Highland Village to see the cows!!! We're going in 3 weeks and I'm a little stressed on how we can get there and not miss getting back on the ship. I see there are some rental agencies but they're like a 50 minute walk from the port. I feel like there will be Travis available at the port but not sure about the return trip. Do you have any tips?
Why don’t you show all of the disgusting Ticas who prey on rich American Men? Disgusting place. I would not send my worst enemy to Quepos.
Wow great footage, lots to see and do.
Thank you very much. I love Ketchikan, it is a beautiful town and the surrounding area is fantastic. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it :)
You didn't go into the town of Homer 🙂.
Unfortunately I didn't have time. I wish I had, hopefully I will have another chance to another day. So, I created a video for what I could. Thank you for watching :)
❤ your vlog
Thank you very much for watching! :)
Wonderful history.
Thank you very much. It is an interesting town with a lot of history, it's a nice place to come from. Glad you enjoyed it. There are lots of other videos on my channel if you'd like to take a look at any others, all the best and happy travels :)

Thank you! That's very kind. Haines is a beautiful town, I loved visiting it. I have lots more videos on the channel if you'd like to see more places, happy travels :)

We just came back from an Alaska cruise with a stop in Ketchikan. Creek st is so cool !

My wife was born in Dunfermline 1952. Left for New Zealand 1967. We came back to Dunfermline 2019, first time since she left. Loved the visit, lots of great history. Loved the glen. Aroha from NZ
I was just there a couple days ago on a Norwegian cruise and this was my favorite excursion. Sadly the gentleman who drove us out there told us that someone gave one of his wolves antifreeze and she died and a grizzly killed his moose a couple weeks ago.
Hey Karen. Nice job. I was there as a 9 year old and then about 10 years ago. My grandfather grew up there and his family started Stephen's Bakery. Is that still there?
Very informative video thanks. It will help us plan our upcoming port visit to Sydney.
