I'll actually be doing an updated version of this video soon. In the meantime... the "detach image" option will only be available if your image has expanded to the full size of your canvas. It locks itself in place. Then in order to make any resizing adjustments you have to detach it. Maybe your image hasn't expanded to fill the full canvas

Nearly 18 months on, i am delighted with the Xpel Stealth. It remains as good as the day it was installed. Even if I'm super critical, i'd be hard-pressed to find any deterioration to the original install. As for the coating... you are correct! i was told that Ceramics adhere best to the original paint, and more than adequately to gloss Film but a "special" Matte was used on Stealth. I would absolutely advise getting the Ceramic over the Stealth. The hydrophobic of the Ceramic will still be better than any wax/polish. I've used many a Carnauba over the years and the Ceramic is by far the best I've encountered. I have not reapplied any treatment as of yet. Still living with the original and still getting very decent hydrophobic qualities. I have been very kind to the surface over the time. Always hand washing and with Neutral Snow Foams and Shampoos etc

Awesome video and responses to all the questions! Thinking of doing our new vehicle in the stealth, but the local guy told me that it is super hard to clean/keep clean?! I can’t imagine that to be the case, especially compared to gloss paint. I live on a dirt road in the mountains with harsh winters and the lovely mag chloride chemical they use on the roads , which I know can eventually eat through normal wrap vinyl if not cleaned regularly, especially paired with the 9,000’ elevation intense sun. So for both of you after a year, does it clean fine still?! From the responses, it sounds like it does and you have no regrets, so I think it’s the proper route to go!

@ thank you. Glad the video is of use to you. I’m now 18 months into having the PPF and still love it just as much. It cleans super easy and shows no signs of deterioration. I have not yet had to reapply any surface treatment, as the original ceramic coating is still very much doing its job. It’s clear that a great installer and a well applied ceramic coating is the key. I’d absolutely recommend going with XPEL Stealth 👍🏻

A portrait image on Facebook has recommended dimensions of 1080wx1350h... therefore the dimensions of the image you wish to split into 4 should be a multiple of 1080 (1080x4 = 4320) Therefore your original image needs dimensions of 4320x1350. Then follow the process of resizing this image onto a 1080x1350 Portrait canvas and duplicating, then moving the image across to the left... repeat the process to create your 4 images

Your conclusion is spot on. I totally agree that the Silver gives a more luxurious/classy look but the Blacked out/stealth look is also equally popular. My preference is still silver

just over a year later, there's No dirt getting trapped so far. I have a thorough weekly wash routine, which seems to be keeping things looking like new. I'm still delighted with the PPF

That is a strtange one for it to develop this "characteristic" all of a sudden. I definitely had it from day one and just learnt to live with it. Maybe request a software check at your dealership. I'm not even sure how mechanically serviceable the gearbox would be

@@matthewmakingmemories Late response on my end, but I've now changed the ATF, rear diff fluid, and cleared a limp code that I had. The only thing that seemed to help was clearing that code, and now my comfort mode is amazing. Comfort mode is stronger than it was since I've bought it a year ago, and it even burbles sometimes. However, sport+ is as good as it ever was but still hesitates sometimes when going from 1st gear. I'm deciding now whether to sell the car or not 😞 I may at least chat with a dealer mechanic, but it has no warranty. So a little scared of what they might say.

@@MarcusLeonard307 I concluded that the hesitations were a "characteristic" of the car in general (many people spoke of it) I don't think a dealer mechanic would really have much to report back to you, so don't worry too much. Maybe there's a more up-to-date software version at least!? My solution for avoiding any hesitation/gearbox-related issues was to move to a 2-stage EV (don't hate) ;) haha I now drive a Taycan GTS. The smoothest of all rides! :)

For example, an Instagram carousel: each image is 1080 pixels wide. You will therefore make your original image canvas a multiple of 1080. So, If you wish to split the image into 3 then the width of the original image should be 3240

I'm about 11 months into ownership now and I can confirm that the PPF has survived the winter very very well. I would be very hard-pressed to find any deterioration at all. I'll be sure to take a closer look and decide if anything is even video worthy. If you are considering PPF I can genuinely confirm that you would not be disappointed with its performance (I'm sure a great installer is crucial)

@@JennyPenny707 have just been on my hands and knees looking at the front end and can honestly say I have zero stone chips (I am also very careful to not follow any vehicles too closely)

It’s a dream to clean! I would attribute a lot of that to the ceramic coating on the PPF. Water beads off which must help with it keeping clean for a little longer. I’m very happy with it ☺️

@@esnook123 I'd definitely say that the Stealth finish does hide the dirt a little better. However, I am quite obsessive with the cleaning so I never let it get particularly dirty :)

Xpel is considered an industry leader (especially here in the UK) Finding an accredited local installer was much easier

Absolutely! We definitely shouldn’t read too much into the lap times at the moment but it always goes to show just how many variables can affect the outcome and why the intricacies of F1 make it such a fascinating spectacle. Tyres, fuel loads, conditions of the day, time of day etc etc. Love it!!

it's a double roundabout. See the roadsign in the freeze-frame. Road markings absolutely need to be repainted. Admittedly they are terrible!@@LewisTcakes
