No retailer pledge option, in fact we will only sell this game B2C for quite a while if not forever.
Wow. I'm seriously impressed with the scope of this expansion! (Big box and all.) I remember hearing that the dimensions of the box changed since the original KS, but did the components too? In other words, could I theoretically upgrade my existing KS version into a big box of the new KS? Sadly, that means letting go of my beautiful wooden LaserOx insert. 😢
The components of the base game are the same. But there is a lot more!

It does require the base game. You can buy the base game during the KS if you still need it.

The functions of each type of card are very clear, and the patterns on the cards are very beautiful and representative. Players can use their ingenuity to strategically expand their territory. There are 88 building cards in the game, and these selected buildings are very representative.😊

Wenn das Spiel mal neu aufgelegt wird, wäre auf jeden Fall eine größere Schachtel sinnvoll. So könnte man die 3 Spielflächen auch auf ein großes, doppelseitiges Brett bringen, dabei vielleicht die Flächen für die Wertungsplättchen ausstanzen lassen. Ich hab das Spiel in der Schweiz für ca. 50 CHF gekauft, was hier eigentlich günstig ist für das, was es ist. Würde annehmen, je größer die Schachtel - was bei CoC auch wirklich praktikabel wäre - , desto eher ist man bereit, 10 oder 20€ mehr auszugeben.

Hopefully but it'll depend on the game's success. I should add that the game will be offered at a very attractive price during the KS (€39 or €59 for the premium version including metal coins and a box sleeve). Also, early backers can vote on certain game elements and thus shape the final product. Given that the game looks as if it already hit a lot of stretch goals, the low price, and the 110% money-back guarantee will hopefully be enough incentive for KS backers.
I think it definitely will be enough. I get immediately turned off from games with too many Kickstarter rewards anymore because it almost becomes a totally different game that only a select few get to experience. Monolith really dropped the ball in this aspect with Conan as they are now experiencing low retail sales because nobody wants to pay the same price for half the content of the KS. Good work with this game, though! Excited to play.
