Hi gueswerte, this video is the most precise instruction I’ve found for the Wonderland Waltz. You made it easy. The fall away diamond isn’t hard after all. How I would love to dance with you.
I was bending some violin liners in poplar I soaked them then before going to the bending iron they tended to straighten out after letting go, dry heat let them take a more pemanent bend. Dry heat is better but there is a risk of burning it should be possible to set the thermostats to give just the right heat with minimal burning. Double curved bentsides are fun because you can't slide the bentside along to match the curve and still get the tail curve to fit I have used a propane torch and even the wood heater to deal with with some difficult spots. It took 10 days to make the bentside on a JP Bull harpsichord never the less one of the most elegant bentsides ever. I mostly use a steaming box.
Geez! How the heck do I do all of that by myself? U guess my instruments aren't as good! They do seem to be good enough for several professional orchestra and opera companies? Oh I do have instruments all over the world. Those poor guys what were they thinking!
Tom, I’m with you. A little too pretentious for my tastes. Given it takes 24 hours or more to cure, this seems overdramatic. Harpsichord makers have been putting in soundboards by themselves for centuries.
I like your machine. I used to just use a metal former that I heated up. I then had to scrape the finish including the scorch marks. Now I laminate. It gives me a more accurate curve. Your way is a big improvement on both.
I canty believe my eyes, I am entranced, bewildered, amazed. Ques does the unthinkable and breaks down a line dance on my mothers favorite song. I am going to surprise her with this in the halls of Valhalla, the hall of the slain. we will wow odin, freja will will be amazed and even Loki will join in (no mischief)
29 stappen?
Excellent job giving instruction on these steps. I’m planning on re-introducing this dance at my club. We used to do it and then it just fell out of favor. Thank you for a great video!
I learned this dance back in 1981 and yes it has 29 steps, but I learned it as a true straight line traveling line dance two direction line dance with the two traveling reverse spins that move like a "Tumbleweed". It takes up a lot of space when performing it correctly and I learned and preform it to slower smoother music - my Favorite is The Sea, Dreams, and Fantasies by the Marshall Tucker Band. - Beautiful dance.
NOT CORRECT THE DANCE HAVE 30 STEPS two wall linedance everybody forgets the touch with left foot ( step 23 ) after the 6 count turn see the books of Kelly Gelette there is also one 32 count dance music why not me the JUdds Ticket to heaven By Dire Straits is favorite
please tell me who the choreographer is for this so I can get step sheets... thanks!
I couldn't understand what you called the sweep?
Hall Elizabeth Williams Scott Lee Carol

Do you know the artist/singer? Name of tune?
You have a lot of patience doing this job, I would of replied to some of the questions with “ you have anymore stupid questions to ask? “

There's quite a few different versions of this dance 😟
I've recently listened to his album containing the Bach Solo Suites. Wonderful! I'll be listening again very soon.
Great Job

You missed the quick steps on the second side step to the left! That’s the best part! 🤪

How much would you charge me to make a harpsichord for me. You can send it to me unassembled and I will assemble it

Thank you so much!!! I learned this last night from you. So much fun.
Fabulous video. I would also like to know what kind of paint is being used here.
Never mind. Found it, Ronan Japan Colors.
I only have an old battered photocopy of the sheet music, and IMSLP doesn't have it. Anyone have a pdf?

Wonderful work! May I ask; is there a special kind of tape you used? I'd like to recreate a simpler effect with wood varnish. Many thanks.
Go cowboys! You guys have balls more than all the hetero haters out there.
