I very rarely notice people who I would think have more talent than I do. I have a different kind. But Maynard is an extraordinary person. Well, from my perspective ;-) I don't know him. Closest I got was meeting the woman who sold his wine on a cross US train. I was supposed to shoot one of their concerts in Toronto... But moved to Romania and couldn't get to the gig. You see those queries about "who would you like to spend an hour with." Maynard. he would be worth my time ;-)

I came across this video - Been a fan for some time, since the formation of this band really as I was a huge Tool fan before these guys (I saw the original Mer De Noms tour back when Maynard would come out wearing nothing but a pair of skivvies)…lol….never realized they covered “What’s Goin On?”. Didn’t know it was possible, but having been raised on Marvin Gaye, I have even more respect for them than I already did.

Maynard James is who I want to see, either with Tool or A Perfect Circle doesn't matter which, I just want to hear his voice (in person instead of on a vid) before I die. That's the ultimate in 'bucket list items' for real! Not to mention my youngest g-kid is named after him (& Layne Staley's GF).

Saw perfect circle 3x now (TOOL like 4)...... I think Maynards voice was insanely great in the late 00's to mid 2010's.. Still GREAT on both ends but he really challenged himself during these years.

A buncha peeps complaining not hearing Judith... I'd rather hear "Pet" than the remix "Count Bodies" thing...And "Diary of a Love Song" woulda made it even more epic than the show already is. I stopped listening to APC by the time the covers album and the 3rd album came out. Didn't evn know this existed...I'm not much of a Tool fan either. Not sayin i don't dig em..Jst prefer APC over them. There isn't many bands to even compare to APC's 1st 2 albums in my book. Musical perfection.
