I needed to concentrate fully on this video as I am german and the many different impressions like music, pictures and different voices make it hard to follow. But after watching it with regular pause and continue it was really informative.
The most important part of any video is the audio. The boings, dripping water, and lack of any kind of sound leveling makes this an incredibly annoying video.
Have you asked yourself which of these groups you identify with? I have found this lead to a powerful lesson from this video. I recognize how many of my behaviors are in the denial category and that makes me motivated to grow in my intercultural awareness.
Thanks for producing this. I have been using Bennett's Developmental Model to help pre-service teachers examine their cultural competence for many years. I have only had text resources. This is a clear synopsis and will help them greatly.
This video is completely offensive.
I was given a paper to read on DMIS but my ADHD brought me here. Thank you!

Not at me doing this homework sooner than I have to. Such a good student.

I appreciate your input. Although this was done quite a long time ago for a college course. So, I feel it is quite adequate for its intended purpose.
Definitely a bias in this video. Pay close attention to the language used and the typical questions each stage asks. The bias is very apparent.
fab video but I could not understand what is meant by Denial, can anyone give an example, please!
Im literally only here because of school I have no idea what any of this means

These stages are good for description of phases in acceptance.....but how many people really make the effort unless they happen to be students
+deborah hall - Thank you for your comment.
I coach this sort of material to expatriate businessmen and women, leaders and directors, in SE Asia.
