Big Crocs, Rusty Pots - Northern Territory veteran mud crab fisherman Ray #mudcrab #crocodile
Meet Ray White, a veteran mud crab fisherman living on the rugged outskirts of Darwin, Northern Territory.
Ray's operation may be simple, but it gets the job done-running solo and always keeping an eye on the competition in his croc-infested territory. It’s a tough life, but Ray thrives in this wild corner of Australia.
Thanks to Ray for letting us join him on his "pirate ship" and experience his unique way of life for the day.
WILD CREEK brings you raw, unfiltered moments of Australian outdoor culture. We capture real, un-scripted footage of life in its most untamed form. We seek out the people living on the fringes, the ones who don’t mind being hard to find, pushing the limits in the same brutal environment as the wildlife they share it with.

I can almost imagine what it must have been when Romans saw massive aurochs fight in the wild and even the Colosseum
Epic
That’s a good life with no one around to annoy you on a daily basis. Good crabbing and fishing and peace and quiet solitude.
Would make a nice guitar strap .
Ots a little ditch for a big croc
Come on JUMP..
Awesome mate keep this up raw thank you from Qld/WA
Thanks, will do!

Couldn't agree more mate.
$30 a kilo? wow wish I could buy them from hi for that price!! way more at retail!!
I love how europeans say it's theirs but the truth is it's ours not theirs. They need to understand, they are very selfish and ignorant and very privileged. Only they have rights they think, certainly not indigenous people.
This is good stuff,thanks 👍💯
No worries mate cheers
Respect the man and his livelihood territory...good one old fella.
That looks like an irrigation channel not a creek
Made feel at home. Watching this. Miss it.

Can't you just pop the claw rather than tit arsing about tying them?
Its a legal requirement in the NT for licenced crabbers to tie them
Oi stop taking the Jenny’s ya idiot
Uncle Ray and Deb...fckn legends!❤🍻🍻Be out for a beer soon!
Say G'day for us!
Ray is a true legend of the industry, plenty of yarns spun over the odd beer on the veranda of the old shack. Good old times 👍

That outboard motor looked like it had plenty of get up and go.
Yep she went alright cutting up the creeks
Crabbing with ray back when I was little was always good fun. Married to my crazy nana can barely understand a single word he says. Love ya ray ❤️
ah too good, cheers for the memory share.
Remember, he gets $30 a KG for a crab, and you're all paying $90 and more at the \markets.. Better to buy from the local it's always fresh and you know what you're getting!
How do you know if there is a shark in the ocean? Dip your finger in the ocean and taste it, if it’s salty then there a shark! Same goes for salties.
Subscribed. This was great.
Cheers John, welcome.
The way life used to be before cafes, fast food, drive through everything appeared. I lived on islands for years - same sort of life ……the mainland has gone mad. Good on yer cobber!
