Rewind is music in a mirror form. The piece explores sound masses on small and large scales, timbral interactions among the instruments, and interlocking rhythmic structures. Rewind was composed for a semester-long workshop with wonderful performers at Rice University in Spring 2021, rehearsed and conducted by Jerry Hou.
